Happiest 40th wedding anniversary to my beautiful parents !!! x today marks 40 years since they tied the knot and it also happens to be Y &Is fifteenth engagement anniversary wheee : we decided to say our vows to each other on a day that celebrated the kind of love and relationship i always wished for ✨💖
My parents have such a beautiful harmonious relationship- it’s been an absolute joy to witness. From messing around and playing jokes, to encouraging each other to grow and become incredible people, achieving things in their careers, respecting their individual selves, to the way they were a such solid team while raising my brother and i; they had each others backs. Loved and smiled through all the battles life threw their way. I especially love the grace they give each other along with a quiet kind of love, friendship, comfort, beauty, strength & unimaginable kindness in the little things every single day.

Dearest Mom and Dad,
Here’s to creating a lifetime of memories, rich with love, laughter, travel and music, family and all the amazing things both of you are about. To building an unshakeable foundation that’s a testament to your unwavering care and love for one another. Thank you ma and pa for being such beauties and inspiring me forever. i love you massively. and i hope to continue to build the kind of life with Y that i have witnessed you living. Hi my sweetlings, sorry we’ve been unreachable on whatsapp/ calls but there’s been a technological tragedy and we’ve lost all our records, whatsapp, contacts and backups 🥺

As we say our heartbroken goodbyes to you Bai, my soul aches with a hollowness so deep that it feels inescapable. i never had the fortune of meeting my maternal grandparents cause we lost them so young ..that’s a part of my mom and me i’ll never be able to discover and be intimate with ..that’s something i can’t ever get over.
But you and Bha were all i knew, got to live with and life with for decades. (and even tho we lost Bha and miss him tremendously)My memories of you are vivid and many. Thank you for the unconditional love you gave us. Despite your conservative upbringing - giving us the gift of a liberal mind. To most things/ phases and curveballs we’d throw your way- whether professionally or who we chose as life partners - your response always was “Bache khush hain toh hum khush hain” thank you for having our back and guarding us so. Accepting and nurturing us. In knowing our past and our roots, we know ourselves. In knowing you - i know who and what i came from. Resilience, strength, love, an abundance of warmth and care, of creativity - cause you were so creative with all the embroidery that i grew up watching you do / make beautifully and perhaps why i got / caught the alternative -i’ll be a barber and embroider hair strands with paint - bug, oiling obsession. , all the cooking and pickling - which sadly i definitely didn’t get the gene for., and the rangolis we’d sit and make for hours. I will remember you everyday always. Hope you are surrounded by light and love, listening to your favorite Stavans and being amazing.
i wish i knew you as a young person, as a human, a woman, not just as a mom and grandmom, To the stories that we missed and the ones that will be carried on in the shape and form of all the lives you’ve touched. thank you Bai i love you ❤️ In all that we do, Y and i - we’ll honor you and Patti by bringing color and joy in this earthly realm. Till our spirits find each other - misses and kisses forever✨✨✨🪷🪷🪷❤️❤️❤️

We started 2025 with some bold steps. some of which we succeeded in, some we have had to put a little pause in. But overall i think we got of our comfort zones, pushed ourselves, played with so much hair, adopted more creatures & sang wildly, got nostalgic & melancholic, defs cried, dreamt, laughed a ton,, but in general persevered and loved harder than ever.

This year especially - i wanna thank all of you wizards, for your incredible art which stays truly inspiring but even more importantly, your warmth and love towards me & HITH, and all our guests. Your sincere hard work and sweetness is greatly appreciated and more than words could ever do justice tbh.
i love the synergy and harmony we have, and it’s soo precious and rare and something i’ll cherish forever.
