1) We don’t give award:
Because we consider YOU as an award in yourself to us and other delegates. We don’t lure people with awards just to make them attend a conference with students.

2) We don’t give 10 minutes lectures:
Trust us… 10 minutes lectures are good. We too love it and appreciate it… but only online. Honestly speaking, they can add lot of value as people can listen to them for quick updates, but lectures in conferences MUST change knowledge, attitude and skill. We want to give value of money paid so we have lectures ranging from an hour to 2 hours.
We would love if you may contribute a mini clip ranging from 3 minutes to 10 minutes on any sports related topic so that we may try to make it viral. We shall upload it on our website and appreciate your contribution by publishing your topic and link with your picture on a backdrop banner in conference.
Oops… we forgot to inform… there is no contribution charge at our end. Its just because we would not like to miss your contribution just because our lecture slots are already full.

3) We don’t have random lectures and accidental teaching:
Days are gone when a lecturer used to enter in the class and ask… “Where did we end last time?”

We follow international norms to identify gaps and then re-engineer the content backwards to make content with clear learning outcomes by using Bloom’s Taxonomy.

So, here are some gaps we decided to bridge this year.

a. Knowledge Gap:

i. Pre-participation Medicals and Musculoskeletal screening including sudden cardiac death in athletes: Recognition and Prevention for and by Sports Physiotherapist.

ii. Demonstrating Tensegrity model in prevention of Sports Injuries

iii. Natural supplementation : Breaking the shackles of Artificial supplements

b. Skill Gap:

i. Demystifying the application of selective Manual therapy techniques in Acute Sports Injuries

ii. Biomechanical functional Analysis : A mandatory but underrated approach for Running Injuries in Athletes

iii. Functional screening and movement analysis of an Athlete Onfield

iv. Practical Sports Psychology Interventions : An ignored but essential Modality

v. Integrated approach for sports injuries

c. Attitude Gap:

i. Lateral thinking towards Spinal conditions in Sports - A case study approach

4) We don’t do Cultural Night:
But we do Physio Night. We have Tron Brothers (D- Maniax Group) who are going to judge the performances meant not only to entertain but also to add professional values e.g. Mnemonics Dance, Mnemonic Songs etc.

We hope you won’t mind us not doing stuffs in aforementioned headings and will support us for going out of box to organise a REAL international level conference.

EMG/NCV STUDIES FOR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Everyone of us crave for a bright and a successful career. As rightly said by a very good philosopher and a friend that the moment you set out of college life and start clinical practice, you cease to be a physiotherapist alone. You become an integral part of the multi-disciplinary health care management team and more importantly a businessman too. That is the time to think what new can be done to be a unique identity. It is of utmost importance to have out of the box thinking and develop something unique that cannot be replicated.
THE NEED FOR LEARNING EMG/NCV STUDIES
For the very fact that EMG/NCV studies have been the part of undergraduate and post graduate curriculum, it seems astonishing why it is not been practised by physiotherapists. Why we physiotherapists hesitate to pursue our career in electrodiagnostic studies which is a lot more lucrative with minimal investment.
EMG/NCV studies have been under rated by us and at the same time over rated by the physiotherapy community. Under rated because we have no clue how lucrative it can be and over rated because many of us think that it is too difficult to be a cup of tea of a Physiotherapist. There is an apprehension amongst us of this study being difficult and a false notion that it is illegal to perform this study.There is a huge market open and certified Physiotherapist can definitely perform the study without any fear. Rather than criticizing the inorganized and unregulated physiotherapy practice, rather than grumbling about what is not there, why cant we use this in a positive direction and enhance our career?
According to 2014 statistics of USA, approximate 165 Physiotherapists were Americal Board Physical Therapy Specialist in Electrophysiology. Each study performed in USA earns more than 1000$ per patient which even the Insurance companies pays even if performed by a Certified Physiotherapist. The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) has developed an examination for select physical therapists that perform electrophysiology studies.
Furthermore there have been so many instances where knowledge of this technique can help even in the routine physiotherapy clinic. Certain conditions which don’t respond to our management can be due to certain rare entrapments whose diagnosis is much easier with the knowledge of this technique
