On the offset of 2024, i would like to offer my heartfelt Gratitude🙏 to 2023 that helped wipe the tears after closing my favorite cafe in December 2022. What an incredible Year of achievements, learnings, friendships and positivity has it been.

Here's how it flew👇🏻

🫰Participating in biggest Festival's and events of Switzerland and Germany including Spring Basel(16000 visitors), Zurifaescht(2 million visitors), Klosterberg Open Air(89000 visitors), Kieswerk Open Air(15000 visitors), Flaneur Festival Basel(81000 visitors), India Day, Kraftwerk Basel Street Food Fest, Advantsgass glaibasel and many more.

🫰Started an adventurous and most interesting Food Truck 🚚 ride and we are loving it.

🫰And what would last forever would be to proudly earn German proficiency Certificate👨‍🎓 without attending a school, being a Swiss C Permit resident👨‍🎓, finally hitting Swiss/German roads with a Swiss Driving license👨‍🎓(missed driving so much since moving abroad), Shinning bright with 98% in Swiss gastronomy owner license(Wirtepatent👨‍🎓). Yes, opening a Bar and a Restaurant in Switzerland has no constraints now.

👨‍🍳And behind the scenes of all these has been the hardwork and test of time i put myself in in 2022 and i must say I AM SO SO PROUD OF MYSELF AS I LET NO BARRIERS STOP MY JOURNEY. I trust now that I can survive in worst of situations as no work is small or big for me anymore. I had the opportunity to expand my network and know how of Swiss gastronomy by working with some of the industry leaders in gastronomy at all possible premium venues including FC Basel, Swiss Indoors, Messeplatz, Congress Center Basel with Migros, Wasserman Catering, Safran Zunft, Hyperion Hotels, Art Basel. I am incredibly proud of how professional and experienced teams at these organisations are and also to get an opportunity to work and learn with them. I am sure i was nowehere equal to where they were but i loved it all and beleive that alot of it has shaped where we are today and what i came out of 2023 with.

The most important pillars of my strength this year and every year have been my life partners(my husband Brajendra Krishna and my son Saunak Krishna ) without whom i could not move a stone. I am definitely the most annoying person in their life with so much and more i do which they can't many a times cope up with but i still always have them and NOTHING WILL EVER MAKE SENSE WITHOUT THEM. NOTHING WOULD MATTER. Towards the last few months of 2023, i thought deep through it to understand what made the difference in last few years after moving abroad, what increased all the stress and how what i do became too much for my family. Even in India, I always worked alot, worked tirelessly, never did let ideas stop, had less family time, least holidays, No weekends but i wasn't too much a pain neither did i get so exhausted.

And then here is the answer
🤔I always worked as a Boss
🤔I never had to do things alone
🤔Always had a team to execute my instructions
🤔Food, kid, cleaning, washing were being done magically and i have no idea how. Perks of having your Mom along

And here in our beautiful Dream land Switzerland where we are trying to create a happy place for us to spend our lives, this team(Braj and Saunak) are the only ones I have to stand by my side, to be my Boss or to consider my Boss and trust me this is overwhelming when you all have your own full time thing to do. Your Family is the only thing permanent after change in life and the only recipe to Success or Failure. Take it or not

Last but not least, we were gifted with 2 beautiful Baby boys in 2023 one start of the Year by Anji Chauhan & Supinder Singh and another towards the end of 2023 by Mamatha Murali & Muralikrishnan Thukkaram

To us, nothing can beat 2023 as it has left behind most beautiful memories and we will always cherish them. We can always win and lose numbers but memories are precious.

As a family, we wish everyone a beautiful and blessed 2024. May we all cherish the good things and times and let go off the things and memories
that dont leave us good vibes and energies.

As we welcome 2024, we are destined to close some old doors to let new doors open for good and that is what we will accept as a postive change and a fresh start to the Year.

We look forward sharing our joys with you all again soon.
