What if everything you thought yoga was… was only the beginning?

Let’s explore the philosophy behind the practice. ✨

If you’re a new mom you’ve probably seen a million reels about diastasis recti. But here’s what nobody is actually explaining.

DR happens to almost every pregnant woman — vaginal or C-section. I had it after a vaginal delivery. The degree varies, but the need to heal your core doesn’t.

Unaddressed, it becomes a lifelong struggle with back pain and pelvic instability. But it can be healed.

Start with the practice I shared in my last reel. Save this and share it with a new mum 🙏

Most people only talk about diastasis recti in the context of C-sections — but the truth is, it happens in both vaginal and surgical deliveries. The degree varies, but almost every pregnancy causes some level of core separation.

And when it goes unaddressed, it shows up as back pain, pelvic instability, a weak core — sometimes for years after delivery. Not because your body failed you, but because nobody told you it needed attention.

This is where healing starts. Save this 🙏

ॐ धन्वन्तरये नमः

The Dhanvantari mantra — chanted for healing, restoration, and wholeness.

In the postpartum period, healing is not just physical. It lives in the breath, the stillness, the quiet act of coming back to yourself.

Save this and chant it today 🙏

Yoga has held me through every transition — pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and everything in between.

Today, on International Yoga Day, I want to share this from one of my students. Reading this is exactly why I do what I do 🙏

Planning pregnancy with PCOD didn’t start with fixing my body.
It started with protecting my mental health, getting clarity, and having honest conversations.

Yoga was already part of my life.
Medical support was taken when needed.
And planning felt lighter when it wasn’t rushed or carried alone.

This is Part 6 of my Conscious Pregnancy Planning series.
Shared honestly — not as a promise.

Pregnancy planning often gets spoken about as a woman’s journey.
But stress, decisions, routines, and emotions don’t belong to one person alone.

For us, things felt lighter when this phase was shared —
from managing stress, to showing up for health, to simply starting our mornings together.

This is part of my Conscious Pregnancy Planning series.
If this resonates, you’re not alone.

Do you feel supported in this phase, or are you carrying it mostly alone?

Which part of conscious pregnancy planning do you need more of right now?

• easing the pressure
• taking care of your body
• calmer conversations
• trusting the process

You can answer with one word or just a 🤍
