Gurumaa was welcomed with immense love and respect by Sunilaji along with her entire family and devotees . Sadhakas from Delhi-NCR took this opportunity to welcome, meet and listen to Gurumaa. Gurumaa was welcomed with a bouquet by the oldest member of the Gupta family on behalf of everyone.
The Satsang started with three 'Omkars' and followed by two minutes silence.
Gauravji welcomed all sadhakas and for the benefit of new devotees, gave a short introduction of The Himalayan Tradition, Swami Rama and Swami Veda and about Gurumaa.
This was followed by deviational songs and kirtan
After this Gurumaa showered her love by offering her valuable guidance to various questions posed by people gathered.
Later Sadhakas shared their experience of how Himalayan Tradition Yoga and Meditation helped them in dealing with various challenges of their life.
The Satsang was respectfully closed with a small guided meditation conducted by Gurumaa.
The peace that followed after the meditation was the 'Pure Grace' of the Masters present there leading everyone to experience the bliss.

World Meditation Day Celebration by HYMC Noida (21st Dec '25)
The Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center (HYMC) Noida, gathered to commemorate World Meditation Day at the home of Archanaji and Shashank Ranjan ji at Greater NOIDA, longtime practitioners of the Himalayan Tradition. Both existing and new seekers were present at the celebrations. Gurumaa was present online for all to see, hear and talk to participants.
The program commenced with 3 omkars followed by devotional bhajans. Shashankji briefed everyone on the Himalayan Tradition- about Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati ji and the lineage which expound the sacred teachings. Jaya Gurumaa then explained the true meaning of spirituality-a life centered on generosity and unconditional love. Gurumaa told everyone about the importance in lives of a sadhaka, the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Swami Rama, and Swami Veda Bharati which are all one. She inspired seekers to be steadfast in their spiritual journey with help of meditation, as taught in the Tradition. She also explained how the Tradition is a source for all meditative practices being followed today in the world, thereby being extremely authentic.
The older students then shared testimonies of their November 2025 Rishikesh retreat experiences and the personal growth they have experienced because of being meditators in the Tradition. The important common learning for most people was how this path has enabled them to navigate significant personal and emotional challenges with faith and resilience. This was followed by a question and answer session from new seekers of the Tradition, whose doubts Gurumaa clarified. The new seekers expressed their thankfulness for explaining the simple and profound meditation techniques of the Himalayan Tradition.
The day culminated in a guided meditation led by Guru Maa, which gently anchored participants in awareness of their breath and silence. This meditative practice showed all practitioners how even a short session in stillness and silence can help in achieving peace. The new seekers expressed their thanksfulness for explaining the simple and profound meditation techniques of the Himalayan Tradition.
The gathering concluded with lunch prasadam to all participants

-Ditto-
Fully endorse....
Few Observations for further improvement for all of us who attended under The HYMCN banner.
1 Ashram rules and time to be adhered to no matter what the circumstances.
Silence was never observed in the dining hall.
2 In the next retreat a very pleasant " Ganga Walk" can be included with one of the teachers.
We all Have To Learn to condition ourselves to align ourselves to PERFECTION.
GuruMaa is Perfection Personified.
Small wonder that the entire retreat was perfect in every way.
GuruMaa 's trusted lieutenants left no stone unturned in their assigned tasks.
The Masters Blessed us all abundantly and welcomed us with wide open arms.
Shall always be grateful and thankful to GuruMaa our Divine Mum.

****Ms Mini Dwivedi Gopinath****
We just returned from my spiritual retreat at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (Nov 20–23, 2025), and while I went there seeking yoga, meditation, breathwork, and a deeper understanding of guru and the guru–shishya parampara, something unexpected became the centre of my experience: Silence.
Not just silence of speech — but the silence of mind, silence of ego, silence of action, silence of “me first”.
As the days unfolded, I realised that silence is not about suppressing the voice; it is about softening the noise.
Silence in Action
This insight came to me in the smallest, most ordinary moments.
Standing in a queue.
Waiting for darshan.
Letting others go first.
Stepping back so someone else may receive before me.
It felt like a practice — a silent offering.
In that simple act of surrender, a deeper truth emerged:
Even if you are the last in line, the Guru’s vision never misses you.
Total samarpan means trusting that it is He who decides the timing, not our ego.
Silence as Freedom From “Me First”
Something shifted inside me when I realised that silence is also the dissolving of the urge to assert:
“I know.”
“I should speak.”
“I must correct.”
“I need to share.”
The ego’s chatter is constant and subtle. But as I sat in meditation, I discovered that when we begin to dance to the rhythm of silence, it no longer matters what we know or don’t know. We simply learn to follow — not out of helplessness, but out of devotion.
This, I felt, is true faith in the Guru.
Silence and Vulnerability
Another layer revealed itself:
our vulnerabilities — the little tremors inside us — rise because we judge ourselves.
Only silence of mind, heart, and thought can prevent those vulnerabilities from shaking us.
Silence becomes the space where we stop fighting ourselves.
The Ganga and the Still Mind
There’s something deeply sacred about Maa Ganga, as if the river is not just water, but memory, energy, and presence. With every breath, the world’s noise dissolves.
All that remains is: the rhythm of flowing water, a still mind, and a heart remembering what peace feels like.
In that space, time softens, ego quiets, and awareness expands.
And in the end, I realised:
The most profound answers don’t always arrive through words — they arrive through silence.
Deepest gratitude to Gurumaa for being the divine light guiding us toward these beautiful realisations. My heartfelt thanks also to the tireless team who made this retreat possible, and to the gurus at SRSG who so generously shared their wisdom and answered our questions with such compassion.

*****Ms Latha Manjunath, Bangalore*****
The Retreat held between Nov 20th to 23rd , in the Land of the Masters and so rightly called Deva Bhoomi was so enticing and exciting that I kept feeling a pull and an urge to go to Rishikesh .
The days that we spent at the Retreat and the whole experience was much more than anticipated , beyond words literally divine in its entirity .so wholesome was the experience that it is all encompassing and making us introspect on all the years we have already spent and give us guidance on how to approach life and how to go further in future in the right direction under the able guidance of the masters .
Basics of life , which all of us take so lightly , breath , breathing correctly , sitting correctly , posture and it’s importance makes us realise how carelessly we were with these basic but constituents of life itself .
Introspection and realisation to proceed further in life was beautifully explained in the classes , that made life look so simple and easy if we followed the guidance of the Guru’s.
There were so many lessons learnt apart from the scheduled classes , by what we saw and experienced in the few days we spent @ the Shri Rama Sadhak Gram .
To top it all was that it coincided with Sri Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati visit and an opportunity for us not only to meet and have an audience with him , recieve his blessings and also have a wholesome Prasad lunch , all of which was overwhelming.
The retreat dates though was decided for another date did culminate at this time which seemed like it was divinely designed to coincide with the Shankaracharya’s visit and also the centenary celebration of Sri Satya Sai Baba so revered and loved by Guruma , which was well celebrated at the Ashram and a Bhandar arranged for all inmates .
All these divine , magical , blissful , wholesome experiences ( can go on 😊)which makes one want to keep going back would not have been possible if not for Guruma .
What can I write about Guruma , so enchanting , caring , guiding , nurturing and almost Godly with her divinity and love for each one of us guides us and is the centre of all gravity which pulls all of us to her .
Guruma it was a power packed events and retreat , thank you , thank you very much Guruma for providing such a beautiful experience 🙏🙏🙏

****Ms Archana Ranjan. NOIDA****
My heart is still soaking in the bliss I experienced in the Spiritual retreat held from 21st to 23rd Nov in our SRSG ashram ( Swami Ram Sadhak Gram) at Rishikesh.
It was a time set apart to reconnect with our inner self through meditation and emotional healing with greater clarity on our life's purpose !
This retreat was special in more ways than one !
The dates and timings were decided by none other than Sri Satya Sai baba himself !
In the three day schedule, we had :
1. Joints and glands exercises
2. Guided meditation by Jaya Guruma
3. Importance of breath, and nadi shodhan
4. Breathing practice
5. Digestive breathing practice
6. Hatha Yoga for our general wellbeing .
Other than this there were talks on the Himalayan tradition of Yoga and Meditation,
Guru Disciple relationship, choosing a path, and Q&A sessions by the teachers of our ashram including Jaya Guruma .
Videos of Swami Ram and Swami Vedas were shown guiding us how to practice meditation and gain self awareness .
Havan and Bhandara were organised on 23rd - baba's birthday which was for the entire ashram .
I was happy to see Baba establishing himself so beautifully in our ashram on his birthday and the people in the ashram greeting each other "Sai Ram" !!!
All this was possible only by Jaya Guruma !!!
Sri Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math visiting there during these three days was a rare Grace by the masters.
We were fortunate to have a personal audience with him and receive his blessings !
I wish to express my gratitude to Jaya Guruma for this flawless and beautifully designed retreat for all of us !
There is so much to learn from her !!!
I've watched her work tirelessly to guide, uplift and connect people with the masters to work on them !!
As we go back to our worldly life, I hope we carry the peace bestowed on us by the masters of this sacred tradition and spread into the world !
I pray that more people receive this rare Grace in the future retreats and find inner calm and gain self awareness !

HYMC, NOIDA’s 3-Day Meditation Retreat at SRSG in Nov 2025
(A meditation retreat guided by Jaya Gurumaa, a disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, held at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama, Rishikesh on 20th , 21st , 22nd and 23rd November 2025)
This retreat, led by Jaya Gurumaa, a direct disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, highlighted the teachings of Swamiji and also celebrated Bhagwan Shri Sathya Sai Baba’s birth centenary. SRSG, founded by Swami Veda Bharatiji, is dedicated to preserving the timeless teachings of Swami Rama. The teachings are rooted in the wisdom of the Great Rishis of the Himalayas.
INAUGURAL CEREMONY : SHRI SATHYA SAI BABA’S BHAJANS AND MANGAL ARTI
The retreat began with sadhakas seeking blessings from Swami Ritavan, a disciple of Swami Rama and Swami Veda, and ashram pramukh, before the inaugural event on 20th November 2025 at 5 pm in “Kapila Hall.” The event featured soulful Sai bhajans and other devotional songs. It culminated in Mangal Arti of Bhagwan Shri Satya Sai Baba, with the sadhakas also seeking blessings from Gurus of the Tradition. In the evening, participants were introduced to The Himalayan Tradition and its teachings.
EVENTS AT THE RETREAT:
The daily events included exercises, video lectures, asanas, pranayama, and nadi shodham classes. Evenings featured practical guidance from Rabindra Sahoo ji on selecting a suitable spiritual path, culminating in a session on the Guru-Disciple relationship. Guru Maa's teachings, despite her frail health, imparted deep spiritual insights, tracing her journey from a devoted follower of Sathya Sai Baba to becoming a direct disciple of Swami Rama.
The instructors provided sadhakas a strong foundation for meditation, emphasizing the importance of proper sitting postures and diaphragmatic breathing. Relaxation exercises, digestive breathing and hatha yoga classes were also held. Silence and guided meditation were the focal point of the retreat, these being central to the teachings of the Tradition. Additionally, a video featuring Swami Rama highlighted his impactful teachings, while another video featuring Swami Veda succinctly conveyed the essence of the Upanishads, serving as a valuable guide for sadhakas..
DARSHAN of Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, (Shankaracharya of the Jyotish Peeth) at Kerala Ashram, Rishikesh
A day at the retreat that had special significance was the sadhakas darshan of Shankaracharyaji on 22nd Nov 2025. The spiritual glory of Shankaracharyaji shone in its true form as he answered patiently, the layman queries. His engagement with the sadhus who were adept at shastras and literature was equally enthralling for the listeners. Shankaracharyaji was indeed very kind to give special time to our sadhaka group in his room at the ashram.
FINAL DAY AND CLOSING CEREMONY:
On the final day, a beautiful havan was conducted featuring Guru mantras, Shri Sathya Sai Baba’s mantra, and offerings to the Divine Mother and Father. The ceremony brought joy to all attendees, creating a profound experience. During the closing ceremony, all sadhakas gathered to express their highest spiritual respects and receive Guru Maa's blessings before returning to their responsibilities. Each participant departed with the seed of transformation and learning to incorporate into their daily lives.
SADHAKAS’ TAKEAWAYS FROM THE RETREAT:
This four-day journey at SRSG stands as a testament to the living tradition of Himalayan yoga, where ancient wisdom finds contemporary expression through the grace of authentic teachers and the sincere seeking of devoted students. Such retreats serve to revive our inner strength and guide us to our true calling in life- to discover who we really are- Tat Tvam Asi.

Guru Poornima Celebrations – 10th July 2025
The sacred occasion of Guru Poornima was celebrated online with love and reverence on Thursday, 10th July 2025, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, in the divine presence of Jaya GuruMaa.
The session began with the chanting of 3 Omkars, invoking inner purity and harmony.
This was followed by a heartfelt Guru Puja, where participants, seated in silence and devotion, offered flowers and akshata at the feet of their Guru’s photo or padukas after each shloka. An uplifting aarti was performed, followed by the chanting of the Akhanda Mandalakaram mantra, invoking the all-pervading Guru principle.
The satsang featured deeply enriching talks and soulful offerings:
Sister Rashmi shared on the Guru-Shishya tradition, explaining the significance of GuRu and how Guru is the bridge from ignorance to illumination.
What is the need for a Guru was beautifully emphasised by Sister Rashmi.
Garimendra Brother spoke about Gurudev Vani—the divine wisdom that flows from the Guru’s words. He beautifully explained how every word spoken by the Guru is not casual, but a stream of higher knowledge. He reflected on how even a Guru’s silence, sternness, or seeming tests are ultimately expressions of compassion and inner guidance. The Guru assesses and guides the disciple with perfect timing, knowing exactly what the soul needs.
Naina Ji offered a soul-stirring bhajan: “Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam”, Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba's first decoration bhajan, taking everyone deep into the spirit of surrender and devotion.
Brother Ashish shared reflections on Avatar Vani, based on the life and teachings of Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba's teachings, such as “Love All, Serve All”, “Help Ever, Hurt Never”, and “Your life is My message”, are distilled wisdom for modern living.
The highlight of the morning was GuruMaa’s blessings and divine guidance, where she lovingly shared her personal experiences with Swami Rama and Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Her words carried deep grace, wisdom, and inspiration for all sadhakas.
The celebration concluded with a guided meditation led by GuruMaa, leaving all participants in a state of peace, silence, and gratitude.
This Guru Poornima was not just a celebration—but a heartfelt rededication to the path of devotion, discipline, and divine connection.

HYMC, NOIDA’s 3-Day Meditation Retreat at Bangalore in June 2025
(A meditation retreat guided by Jaya Gurumaa, a disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, held at The School of Ancient Wisdom, Devanahalli, Bangalore on 20th , 21st , 22nd and 23rd June 2025)
The meditation retreat was held at The School of Ancient Wisdom, Devanahalli, Bangalore. The venue is a sanctuary where the timeless teachings of the Sages and Rishis find their expression. This retreat, guided by Jaya GuruMaa -a direct disciple of the revered Swami Rama-unfolded like a sacred manuscript, each day revealing deeper layers of spiritual understanding.
INAUGURAL CEREMONY AND GURU PUJA:
The inaugural event on 20th June 2025, Friday, started at 10 am. The event was held at the “Agastya Hall” named in honour of the Great Indian Sage. It commenced with the lighting of the sacred lamp and Guru Puja. Vinodji welcomed all the participants to the retreat and offered gratitude to Gurumaa for guiding the retreat . The sadhakas were introduced to The Himalayan Tradition and to HYMC NOIDA and its activities. A video of Swami Rama of the Himalayas gave insights to Swamiji’s teachings and his immense contributions to the world in several spheres. The inaugural ceremony became a confluence of devotion as participants offered prayers to Swami Rama and Shri Sathya Sai Baba, acknowledging the divine grace that had brought this spiritual family together.
EVENTS AT THE RETREAT:
Guru Maa's guided meditation sessions which comprised of several techniques as taught in the Himalayan Tradition, filled all the participants with peace and joy.. The sadhakas were indeed very thankful to Gurumaa for sharing her personal journey as well as her deep spiritual insights. Guru Maa's experiences illuminated the mysterious ways of spiritual calling. Her journey from devoted follower of Sathya Sai Baba-blessed with over a hundred personal interviews-to becoming a direct disciple of Swami Rama through what seemed like a coincidental trip to Rishikesh, revealed the invisible threads that weave a seeker's destiny.
The technical foundations laid by Mr. Rajnish and Ms. Divya transcended mere instruction, becoming gateways to deeper understanding. The exploration of proper sitting postures revealed how the physical form becomes a vessel for channelling divine energy. The revelation that we are all born with the birthright of diaphragmatic breathing, only to lose it through life's conditioning, struck participants with profound recognition.
A special thanks indeed to Ms Namita, who took out her time to talk to our group. She held extremely important sessions outlining the message of Yoga in Bhagawad Geeta, so much applicable in day-to-day life. Ms. Namita's scholarly discourse wove together the practical and philosophical dimensions of yoga, beginning with Arjuna's crisis in the first chapter as a mirror for every seeker's journey. It gave some very useful and important guidelines for every spiritual aspirant who is also a householder.
A sincere thanks to Mrs. Maya Ghosh, who is a known Hindustani classical singer. Her soulful bhajans impacted the audience profoundly. Her rendering of Rabindranath Tagore's Nobel Prize-winning composition "Anandloke, Mongolaloke." transported sadhakas to sublime realms.
A heartfelt thanks also to Ms. Punita Nehru, whose transformational testimony revealed how personal trials become stepping stones to spiritual realization. Her journey through family challenges to material success through pure devotional service demonstrated the power of right intention and divine surrender in navigating life's complexities.
The events for each day were packed with learning and also gave enough free time to the sadhakas to contemplate in the serene environment offered by the place. The early morning sessions comprised of joints & glands exercises, followed by video lectures, asanas, pranayama and nadi shodham classes. The evenings were filled devotional bhajan sessions, experience sharing and study circle.
CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY:
The second day of retreat (21st June 2025) had special significance as the world celebrated International Day of Yoga. The day started with spiritual practice through asanas, pranayama, and meditation in the authentic Himalayan tradition. A profound video of Swami Veda illuminated the golden thread connecting all world religions-the universal principles of non-violence, sacred sound vibrations, surrender, and the cultivation of love as humanity's essential nature. Guru Maa's commentary emphasized how the spiritual journey begins within and naturally expands to recognize the fundamental unity underlying apparent diversity. The musical offerings by Mrs. Maya Ghosh transported participants to the sublime.
FINAL DAY AND CLOSING CEREMONY:
The final day focused on integration through Ms. Divya's joints and glands session in early morning, emphasizing slow, mindful movement that transitions naturally into meditative states. The closing ceremony became a sacred offering as all sadhakas gathered to pay their highest spiritual obeisances, receiving Guru Maa's blessings before returning to their duties. The retreat concluded not as an ending but as a beginning-each participant carrying within them the seeds of transformation planted in the fertile soil of authentic spiritual transmission.
SADHAKAS’ TAKEAWAYS FROM THE RETREAT:
This four-day journey at The School of Ancient Wisdom stands as a testament to the living tradition of Himalayan yoga, where ancient wisdom finds contemporary expression through the grace of authentic teachers and the sincere seeking of devoted students. In a world often fragmented by surface differences, such retreats serve as beacons, illuminating the eternal truth that underlies all spiritual seeking-the recognition of our fundamental unity with the divine source from which we have never truly been separated.
We bow down in reverence at the Lotus feet of the Himalayan Sages who showered their love and blessings upon us
Jai Gurudeva!

***********
Sairam Dearest GuruMaa and all dear fellow sadhaks,
With deepest reverence and gratitude, I wish to share my heartfelt reflections from this retreat in Bangalore. This has truly been a soul-enriching experience for me.
This was my second retreat, and each one feels like a gentle step closer to the Self within.
My Takeaways
The Power of Silence..
One of the greatest gifts from this retreat was rediscovering the healing power of silence. The calm peaceful environment made it easy to sit with myself and notice how silence can feel so comforting and nurturing. When we allow ourselves to become truly silent, the inner voice begins to speak. Although I have not been able to practise this regularly in my daily life, I will surely carry this as a valuable takeaway and strive to cultivate it going forward.
Nadi Shodhana Practice
Learning about Nadi Shodhana was another precious blessing. I had never fully realised how the breath could harmonise the body and mind so effortlessly. As I practised, I felt a sense of balance and calm returning to me, helping me feel more centred and less restless.
Being amidst so many sincere and dedicated sadhakas was truly inspiring. Many of them were experienced on the spiritual path, yet they showed such humility and love.
In daily life, I often struggle to sustain these practices. That is why retreats like this feel like returning to a spiritual home.....a place to recharge, reflect, andreconnect with my truer purpose.
After the retreat, I also had the blessing of visiting Puttaparthi, which felt like a divine culmination of this entire journey..a final blessing that uplifted my spirit even more. While there, I prayed for everyone and felt deeply peaceful and blessed.
My heartfelt gratitude to you, GuruMaa, for your compassionate guidance, wisdom, and blessings.
With love and folded hands,
My heart is full now,
Thanks!!
