That Vitamin C "glow tablet" everyone is recommending?
The science tells a very different story.

Oral Vitamin C is a legitimate micronutrient with real biological roles — collagen synthesis, antioxidant defence, immune function. But it is not a skin brightening pill. It does not guarantee glow, fade pigmentation, or override your genetics, sun exposure, or lifestyle.

And taken in excess, it carries risks that promotional content almost never mentions.

This carousel breaks down what the science actually says — and what truly supports healthy skin.

Read it. Save it. Share it with someone who's spending money on supplements they don't need.

The 2 finger rule was not invented by a beauty blogger.

It was published in the British Medical Journal in 2002 by dermatologists Taylor and Diffey — based on the exact amount used to test SPF in labs worldwide.
That amount is 2 milligrams per square centimeter of skin.

Two finger lengths from palm to fingertip = that exact lab dose for your face.
Apply less — and your SPF 50 stops performing like SPF 50. Studies show most people apply only half the needed amount — which means their SPF 50 is working like SPF 10 in real life.

This is not a beauty tip. This is a dermatology dosing standard.
Treat it like medicine.

Why your SPF isn't working...
🤡
You are probably using only 20% of the sunscreen you actually need.
Hum sab ki aadat hai-expensive serums toh bhar bhar ke lagate hain, but sunscreen mein kanjoosi? Kyun, yaar? If you don't apply the Two-Finger Rule, your SPF 50 is effectively behaving like an SPF 10.
The Hachi Logic: 1 Two thick lines (Index + Middle finger). 2
Cover face, ears, and neck. 3 Blend it in (even if it takes a minute!).
It's not just about applying; it's about applying enough. Don't let your skincare budget go to waste because you were stingy with the shield.
Tag that friend who thinks one bottle of SPF should last a whole year!

You don't feel UV damage happening. That's the problem.

No pain. No visible burn. Just silent, daily destruction of collagen, DNA, and skin structure — happening every time you step outside without SPF.
This carousel breaks down what UV actually does to your skin layer by layer, why Indian skin is specifically vulnerable to pigmentation and photoaging, and why sunscreen is not optional skincare — it is skin infrastructure.

Do sunscreens hain. Ek tumhari skin ke liye perfect hai. Ek bilkul nahi.

Physical ya Chemical — yeh debate bahut purani hai. Par answer tumhari skin type mein chhupi hai.
Physical sunscreen skin ke upar baithti hai, rays reflect karti hai. Safe hai, but white cast aa sakta hai — especially Indian skin tones par.

Chemical sunscreen UV absorb karti hai, invisible finish deti hai. Makeup ke neeche perfect — but sensitive skin ke liye thodi tricky ho sakti hai.
Aur best wala? Jo tum roz lagao. Chahe physical ho, chemical ho ya hybrid — consistency hi asli winner hai.

Comment karo apna skin type — main batati hoon konsa tumhare liye best hai. 👇

Most people look at one number on their sunscreen — SPF.

But SPF tells you almost nothing about what's inside the bottle or how it actually works on your skin.

This carousel breaks down the two types of sunscreen ingredients, how they protect you at a molecular level, why some degrade faster than you think, and what Indian skin specifically needs from its SPF.

Read your labels. Know your ingredients. That's Skin Intelligence.

You’re checking SPF… but missing the bigger picture.

SPF only tells you about UV-B (burning).
But UV-A? That’s the one causing:
👉 premature aging
👉 pigmentation
👉 collagen damage
And yes—UV-A doesn’t care if you’re indoors.
So next time you buy sunscreen, don’t just ask:
SPF kitna hai?

Is it protecting me from both?
Half knowledge = half protection.

Why are we suddenly "scared" of Sunscreen? 🧴🤔

Aaj kal internet par ek trend chal raha hai: "Sunscreen is toxic." Ek video aati hai aur hum panic kar jaate hain. But let's pause and think like an intelligent consumer. 🧠

Scientific research has proven—over and over again—that Sunscreen is the GOLD STANDARD for:

✅ Preventing Skin Cancer
✅ Stopping Premature Aging (wrinkles, fine lines)
✅ Fading stubborn Pigmentation

There is NO peer-reviewed study that says applying sunscreen causes cancer. Zero. Zilch. 🚫
At Hachi, we’re all about Skin Intelligence. We don't follow the "viral" noise; we follow the science that keeps your skin healthy and glowing for years, not just for a 15-second reel.

Trust the data, not the drama. ✨

Are you team 'Science' or team 'I heard it on a Reel'? Let’s talk below! 👇

Heat isn’t just uncomfortable — it’s stressful for your skin.

From barrier damage to unexpected pigmentation, rising temperatures can quietly undo your skincare efforts.

This is your reminder:
Protection isn’t just SPF. It’s strategy.
Think antioxidants.
Think lightweight hydration.
Think consistent reapplication.
Think repair.

Because great skin in summer isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing it right.

Save this as your heatwave skin protocol.
