ऋषिकेश प्रवास के दौरान आचार्य शिवम मिश्र सर को योग ऋषि विश्वकेतु जी के आश्रम जाने का सौभाग्य मिला । आदरणीय सर पूज्य ऋषी जी के आश्रम की भूरी भूरी प्रशंसा की साथ ही कहा की आधुनिक योग समुदाय कितना अनभिज्ञ है यह नहीं कहा जा सकता लेकिन यदि शिवानंद जी जब जीवित रहे होंगे तो ऐसे ही रहे होंगे । गृहस्थ जीवन का पालन करते हुए संन्यासी जैसे जीवन आत्मसात करना यद्यपि बहुत कठिन कार्य है ।
गौरतलब हो कि पूज्य विश्वकेतु जी का आश्रम दसो बीघे पहाड़ी जमीन पर सात मंजिल में बना हुआ है जिसमे सैकड़ो लोगो के रुकने की व्यवस्था है । एक बात बहुत प्रसिद्ध है की ऋषिकेश का ऐसा आश्रम है जिसमे चम्मच से घी नहीं अपितु जग से घी दिया जाता है ।
उक्त स्तर को प्राप्त करने हेतु पूज्य विश्वकेतु जी के वर्षों की साधना रही है विश्वकेतु जी ने न केवल ऋषिकेश तपोवन में एक बड़ा आश्रम बनाया अपितु ऋषिकेश से थोड़ी दूरी पर जंगल आश्रम नाम का एक व्यापक आश्रम का निर्माण किया है जहाँ हर क्षण सैकड़ों विदेशी विद्यार्थी रहकर योग की अनवरत शिक्षाएँ ले रहे हैं पूज्य विश्वकेतु जी की धर्मपत्नी प्रकाशिनी जी एवं स्वयं विश्वकेतु जी एक वैश्विक निष्णात विद्वान आचार्य हैं विभिन्न शिक्षा पद्धतियों को पूर्ण कर आप योग में अनवरत सेवाएँ पिछले चालीस वर्षों से देते हुए आ रहे हैं बाल योगी हैं और उसका पूरा स्वरूप अब दर्शित हो रहा है आचार्य शिवम मिश्र सर ने पूज्य विश्वकेतु जी को खूब सराहा खूब मंगलकामना दीं आचार्य जी का पूरा दल जिसमें रोमानिया, नीदरलैंड, फ्रांस, बेल्जियम इत्यादि के छात्र शामिल थे सब ने भूरी-भूरी प्रशंसा की , शाम का भोजन किया , नदी के किनारे प्रवास किया एवं उसके उपरांत वापस लौटे।
