वसंत ऋतू - mid march to mid may

या काळात उन्हाळा सुरु झाला आहे असे वाटून थंड पदार्थ घेण्याचा मोह होतो. आणि अशा गोष्टींनी लगेच त्रास सुद्धा होतो.
म्हणूनच सकाळी लवकर वातावरणात थंडावा आणि दुपारी प्रखर ऊन अशा काळात वरील गोष्टींचा विचार करूनच आचरण ठेवावे.

बऱ्याच रुग्णांना हा प्रश्न विचारला की काय उत्तर देऊ काळत नाही. वेळेवर जेवणे आरोग्यदायी आहे, या समजामुळे पचनशक्तीची खूप आबाळ होत आहे.

वेळेवर जेवायचे पण तेव्हा भूक पण लागलेली हवी. भूक नसताना खाल्लेलं अन्न पचत नाही, अशा अजीर्ण होण्याने भरपूर व्याधी होतात.

यावर उपाय म्हणजे
भूक लागली की जेवण करणे!

रोजच्या कामाच्या वेळासांभाळून जेवणाचा ठरलेला वेळ लक्षात घेऊन आपले routine बसवणे महत्वाचे आणि गरजेचे आहे.

तसेच भूक नसताना कधी जेवण झालेच तर त्यापासून आम होऊ नये म्हणून नियमित व्यायाम ठेवावा.

तर मग तुम्ही पण वेळ झाली की जेवण करता का??

Did you know that tender and mature radish offer distinct benefits in Ayurveda? 🌱
Tender radish is light and cooling, perfect for balancing pitta dosha and aiding digestion,

while mature radish brings its milder cooling properties, supporting liver function and respiratory health.

Process to eat mature radish?
Roast it with little oil on pan until turns slight golden and lower down its raw smell
And enjoy.. 🤗

What is peya?
Peya is medicated soup. Usually prepared from upper part of cooked rice.

1 part red rice
16 parts water

Take upper water with less rice grains after rice is well cooked.
Add pepper, dry ginger powder, himalayan pink salt and coriander as per taste.

Have it, hot sip by sip.

What is vilepi?
Vilepi – thick liquid diet or semisolid diet with adequate solid portion of cooked rice with less watery ingredient in it.

1part red rice
4 part water

Well cooked rice with semisolid consistency.
Season it with tadka of hing, pepper, dry ginger powder, garlic, ghee.

What is yusha?
Yusha is the watery portion drained after cooking grain preferably legumes in water.

Soaked Green grams -50gms
water - 200ml

Cook green gram, seperate above water and salt to the water.
season the water with regular mustard, hing, jiraka, ginger, garlic and ghee.

What is Yavagu?
When cereals cooked with excess water, that watery gruel is yavagu.

According to ayurved, yavagu is mainly prepared from rice.

Red rice 1part
Green gram 1 part
Water 6 parts

Cook rice, green gram properly.
Then season the mixture witg dry ginger, pepper.
Give tadaka with ghee, hing,garlic, curryleaves and spices of your choice.

You can add onion, tomatos to make it extra delicious.
