We always promote to eat seasonal fruits and vegetables as they have natural properties to protect our body from that particular season.
How many of you like to eat *Jamun* π€
Today's recipe is made with Jamun/Black plum
Jamun is an Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic (very low glycemic index good for diabetic people)
In Ancient times, Jamun is consider as a medicinal plant for Diabetes as extract of it's leaves, seeds, bark and fruits helps in prevent diabetes and diseases like metabolic syndrome.
So here's the Recipe ππ
*Java Plum cooler*
Ingredients: 10-15 Jamun/Java Plum
1/2tsp jeera powder
1/2 cup jaggery
1/2 lemon
Few mint leaves
Method:
Wash $ rinse Jamun.
In a pan add jamun , jeera ,jaggery and water .
Bring to boil for 8-10 minutes.
Strain the mixture .
Serve with fresh mint leaves lemon slices and ice cubes.
Java plum cooler is ready.

Mostly when we are on a plan to loose weight we ignore an important pillar of our health...and that is number of hours of quality sleep.
The amount of sleep you get may be just as important as your diet and exercise.
Sleeping less than 6-7 hours may lead to to:
* Higher waist circumference ( belly fat )
* Consuming more calories from high fat and high sugar foods.
* Increase in stress levels ( start of problems related to hypertension and heart )
* More late night snacking ( usually high calorie food )
* Drowsiness and less energy to do work. Leading to brain fog and poor choices.
* Slower Metabolism, meaning less calories burned.
All this translates into weight gain.
Now it may not happen overnight. But gradually without us knowing our health starts to be compromised.
So my advice is to pay as much attention to your *Quality Sleep* as much you would to your Nutrition and Excercise to loose weight.
*Pro Tip*
Sleeping more during the weekends does not *catch up* for lost sleep during the week.!! π
