"Kidbee Mom' Tip Day 23"!✨

-How to deal with Fever In kids?!! And How to check Fever in Kids!?

🌡️ Fever can be scary, but staying calm is the first step. Most fevers are the body's natural defense against infection. Keep your child comfortable, encourage fluids, and know the warning signs that require medical care. Always consult your pediatrician if you're unsure. 💙

A fever is often your child's body fighting an infection. Keep your little one well hydrated, dress them in light clothing, and let them rest. Give fever medicine only as advised by your pediatrician or according to the recommended dose.

-Seek medical attention immediately if:

Your baby is under 3 months with a fever.
The fever lasts more than 3 days.
Your child has trouble breathing, persistent vomiting, seizures, unusual sleepiness, or isn't drinking fluids.

-Post-Immunization Care tips for Moms💙

1. Can fever happen after vaccination?
Yes, mild fever can happen after vaccines and usually settles in a few days. Fever, soreness, redness, and swelling are common mild reactions.

2. What should parents do if baby gets fever?
Keep the child lightly dressed, give enough fluids, and use fever medicine only as advised by the pediatrician. It is also advised not to overdress the child during fever after vaccination.

3. Can we massage the injection area?
Avoid rubbing or massaging the injection site. Instead, you can use a clean, cool cloth gently if there is swelling or discomfort.

4. Is swelling or redness normal?
Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection site is common and usually improves on its own in 1–2 days.

5. Can baby take bath after vaccination?
Yes, usually a gentle bath is okay, but keep it short and avoid very hot water. Don’t rub the injection area.

6. Should baby rest after vaccination?
Yes. Some babies may feel sleepy, cranky, or unsettled after vaccination. Let them rest, cuddle them, and keep them comfortable.

7. When should parents call the doctor?
Call the pediatrician if fever is high, baby is unusually drowsy, crying continuously, swelling is increasing, breathing difficulty occurs, or you feel something is not normal. NHS advises urgent medical help for babies under 3 months with temperature 38°C or higher, or 3–6 months with 39°C or higher.

“After vaccination, your baby needs comfort, cuddles, fluids, and careful observation — not panic

Spot the difference..?!!

-Choosing a Baby Bar? Don’t Look Only at the Fragrance!”

💗 1.Choose a baby bar with a good base..
Traditional alkaline soaps can feel drying. A gentle cleansing bar is usually better suited to delicate baby skin.

2. Look for a skin-friendly pH
Choose a bar with a mildly acidic or near-neutral pH, ideally around 5.5–7, to help avoid disturbing the baby’s developing skin barrier.

3. Prefer fragrance-free or very mildly fragranced
Strong perfumes can irritate sensitive or eczema-prone skin. Fragrance-free is the safer choice when the baby has sensitive skin.

4. Look for gentle moisturising ingredients
Ingredients such as glycerin, colloidal oatmeal, ceramides or mild emollients can help the skin feel comfortable after cleansing.

5. Avoid harsh extras
Skip bars containing scrubbing particles, strong colours, deodorising ingredients, antiseptics or exfoliating acids unless a doctor specifically recommends them.

6. Check the baby’s skin after use
A suitable bar should not leave the skin feeling tight, excessively dry, red or itchy. Stop using it if irritation appears and consult a paediatrician if the reaction persists.

✨ Mom Reminder: Use only a small amount, avoid scrubbing and keep baths short with lukewarm water...
