Bad eating manners can be a big turn off !!

Are you conscious about the way you eat, especially at public places?? If no, then you might be turning off people around you.

The way you eat also reflects your personality.

The big NO's while eating in a public place :
Avoid spilling food outside and around your plate. Don't make your fingers messy and never lick your fingers. Eat with the help of a spoon, fork and knife wherever required. Don't hog on the food. Take some pauses while eating...your food won't run away anywhere !! Don't open your mouth wide while chewing the food.

Make people around you feel good when you dine with them !!
And don't turn them off with your bad eating habits !!

Wondering how to get rid of dark underarms?

The most common reason of dark underarms is the use of Deodorants and Antiperspirants excessively. Many theories reveal that the chemical compounds in strong deodorants could be the reason for darker underarms. This leads to pigmentation, which can result in permanently darker armpits.

Use less deodorants :
Since we know that your deodorant or antiperspirant could be the reason you have darker underarms, give them a miss. Instead, try natural remedies to combat body odour for a few days. You can mix baking soda with a little water and wipe the underarms with this solution. Anti-fungal powders and alum are also great alternatives. Once your underarms look lighter, shift to specialised whitening deos or deos made especially for sensitive skin.

SOCIAL DRINKING ETIQUETTES

The social drinking implies consumption of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks in a social function. The quantity and manner of consuming a drink by a person in a social gathering reflects on his PERSONALITY. Therefore, a person may consume an alcoholic or a non-alcoholic drink as he likes, but as per the occasion, social norms and the time of the day. However there are some points that need to be borne in mind in this regard :

(a) Whatever, may be the type of drink taken in a social gathering, it should be consumed with social grace. No alcoholic drinks are taken at breakfast time. They also need to be avoided during working lunches.
(b) Consumption of a mildly alcoholic drink, like, beer and wine is considered in order in some of the societies and organizations and during lunch parties. However, that should be avoided, if there is some engagement in the post-lunch time.
(c) At a cocktail party or during a pre-dinner social time, one may take an alcoholic or mildly alcoholic or soft drink, as per the choice. However, the choice should be kept within what is offered by the host.
(d) Drinks should be taken in sips. Never gulp them. Hard alcoholic drinks, like, whiskey, brandy, gin and vodka, are to be taken in small pegs, at a time.
(e) Drinking of two small pegs of alcoholic drinks is considered social. More or less than that is considered socially undesirable. Getting drunk or tipsy is highly unsocial and undesirable.
(f) Consumption of drinks straight from the bottle is considered unsocial. There are different types of glasses used for serving and consuming drinks. They should be used accordingly. Beer is consumed in long beer glasses or mugs. Whisky is taken in whisky glasses. Brandy is taken in goblet type of glasses. Wines are taken in wine glasses.
(g) Juices and soft drinks are not taken in glasses meant for alcoholic drinks. They should be served and consumed in glasses meant for them.
(h) Last, but not the least, as a host, do cater for socially desirable drinks for one's guests. But, never force any drink on anyone. It is the duty of the host to so manage the consumption of drinks that none of the guests get drunk or tipsy.

Have a rocking Weekend !!

Why have tea, when you can have GREEN TEA ??....

Tea, commonly known as ‘chai’ in India consists of high levels of caffeine which is not good for health and skin.

In cases of acnes and pimples, green tea comes in great aid as the antibacterial content in it, known as catechins, reduces over stimulation of the skin hormones. Further, the overall appearance of the skin is also improved along with complexion when green tea is consumed. Green tea is also known for its ability to prevent bad breath. It also helps in weight loss. Green tea protects skin from sun damage, it tones skin and hair, prevents wrinkles.

Men’s clothing..Color Combination # 2
Men in pink? No big deal!

Pink is said to be the colour of passion, at least according to Aerosmith’s song, titled Pink. But we all know it as a girls colour. Maybe it is the commercial world fault pushing all this pink things for baby girls, and Barbie’s and grown up girlie girls.

The only mantra in wearing pink or for that matter any color is to know if it suits your complexion and personality. It is important, how well you can carry Pink??

If you can’t bring yourself to wear bright pink, start with a light, pastel pink and go darker from there.
Matching pink to camels, blacks and dark blues will help you incorporate it into your every day wardrobe.

BEAUTY SLEEP….
Are you getting enough Beauty Sleep ??

You've probably already noticed that when you skimp on sleep, it shows on your face. Tired skin sags, bags, and loses its luster. Lack of sleep causes blood vessels to dilate, causing the look of dark circles, Not enough sleep can also make you more stressed, and everyone can see that tension. It makes you look angry, tired, sad, and certainly older.

Why You Need Your Beauty Sleep
Your skin, and your whole body, goes into repair mode when you sleep, While you sleep, your skin renews itself. New skin cells grow and replace older cells. It's also a time when all sorts of hormonal and metabolic changes happen in and the body, including your skin. A lack of sleep can disrupt those processes.

How much sleep do you need :
Seven to eight hours of beauty rest nightly should do the trick. You might wonder that if seven to eight hours of sleep is good, are 10 or 11 hours even better? Not so. There are studies that show getting too much sleep is as detrimental to your skin as not getting enough, Oversleeping can actually increase skin cell breakdown.

5 Steps to Better Beauty Sleep
Try these tips for a more beautiful night's rest:
1.Start a positive bedtime ritual. Visualize beautiful, healthy skin as you fall asleep and your body will go in that direction,
2.Get into a sleep habit. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. That rhythm is good for your skin,
3.Become a back sleeper. Stomach sleeping presses your face into the pillow, creating a meshwork of fine lines and creases when you wake up.
4.Put a soft cover on your pillow. A pillowcase with a high thread count is kinder to your skin.
5.Go white for your sheets. Dyes on your sheets and pillowcase can irritate sensitive skin.

Have a Goodnight BEAUTY SLEEP !!
