Teaching kids to give back to society is a goal of many parents, and many of kids choose to truly give of themselves by donating their hair for cancer patients or others who suffer from hair loss. 

Today my daughter made me speechless when she decided to donate her hair for cancer patients. She was obsessed with keeping long hair and spent last few years to grow her hair. 

She said that she is happy with her new cut, but it didn’t compare with the happiness she was feeling for being able to help someone else in need.

We as parents also learned a few lessons, including that our kids is often braver than us. May god bless her to keep her philanthropy attitude.
