Finally we are done with NABH Accreditation our first priavte sector project Eye Care and Reseach Centre Karan Nagar Srinagar is now NABH Accredited.

Our efforts made it done also thanks to stake holders Dr Bashir and all the staff members of ECRC
This had been an exciting way to achievement. This journey took about 2 yrs.A detailed gap analysis was done and discussed with stake holders extensive infra-structural changes were also planned & incorporated, training were given mock drills were done audits were also done both medical and surgical, patients satisfaction rate were monitored besides the usual optimization of manpower, equipment management, disaster management, also policies were made, documentation of manuals done & SOPs framing, trainings etc.
Once again Congratulations to my team members for this project. Last but not least we have started the road leading to quality of health care system in Jammu and Kashmir. Ten Top Tips to help us prevent infections
1. Use the alcohol based hand gel or wash hands on entry to and
exit from ward
2. Wash hands or use hand gel before and after any patient
contact
3. Contact a nurse if another patient needs assistance
4. Do not sit/lie on other patients' beds or your relative's bed
5. Don’t share patient toiletries or towels
6. Do not touch any wounds or medical equipment
7. Don’t visit if you are suffering from an infection
8. Don’t visit in work clothing, e.g. healthcare or builder
9. Don't bring food in that requires reheating
10. Ward toilets should only be used by patients
