One question I get quite often is — “Doctor, what do you think about oral glutathione?”

If you’re considering it, I’d say don’t just look at the word glutathione — look at the formulation and the ingredients.

One formulation I’ve been exploring is Chicnutrix Glow Advanced. It combines liposomal glutathione with MitoPrime® L-Ergothioneine, a potent antioxidant that supports cellular protection and helps the body manage oxidative stress.

What I particularly like about this combination is that it goes beyond simply adding glutathione. The liposomal format is designed for better delivery, while ergothioneine adds another layer of antioxidant support.

For me, supplements are never about a quick “glow fix.” They’re about supporting skin health from within, alongside a good skincare routine, nutrition, sleep and sun protection.

If you’re thinking about starting glutathione, choose the formulation carefully and make sure it’s appropriate for you. 🤍

Things I’m not afraid to admit as a dermatologist in my 30s…

1. I don’t always love applying sunscreen, but I do it anyway because I want my skin to age well. ☀️
2. I’ve tried aesthetic treatments myself—not because I needed them, but because I believe in understanding what my patients experience.
3. I still get nervous before procedures. Being a dermatologist doesn’t make me immune to that! 😅
4. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about work. My 30s have taught me to make space for actually living, too.
5. I remind my patients to stop focusing only on their flaws. Your skin can be imperfect and still be beautiful. 🤍
6. I preach consistency, but yes… I occasionally skip my own skincare routine too. We’re all human!
7. And I won’t lie—I LOVE when patients tell me I look younger than my age. Some compliments just hit differently. 😂

Dermatologist ≠ perfect skin. Just a girl trying to practice what she preaches.

Your loofah might be doing more harm than good. 🧼👀

When left damp in the bathroom, loofahs can trap dead skin cells, moisture and microbes—creating the perfect environment for bacteria and germs to multiply.

For cleaner skin, skip the loofah or replace it frequently and let it dry completely between uses.

Acne is more than just a breakout. Hormones, stress, lifestyle, sleep and your skin can all play a role.

That’s why acne care starts with understanding your skin—and building a consistent routine.

For oily, acne-prone skin, Bioderma Sébium Gel Moussant gently removes impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin.

Because the right care, consistently, can make a difference. 💙

Not every skincare ingredient needs to be harsh to be effective. ✨

Azelaic acid is one of the most underrated multitaskers in dermatology. It helps:
✔️ Fade post-acne marks
✔️ Calm redness
✔️ Improve uneven skin tone
✔️ Keep pores clearer

One formulation I like is the Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster, especially for those dealing with persistent pigmentation and redness. The key is choosing the right active for your skin and using it consistently.

Remember: Great skin isn’t about using more products—it’s about using the right ones.

Your skin is healing. Protect it. ☀️🛡️

After procedures like chemical peels, lasers, microneedling, or skin resurfacing, your skin becomes more sensitive to UV damage. Even a little sun exposure can increase the risk of pigmentation, redness, and slower healing.

That’s why I recommend using a broad-spectrum UV shield every single day—even if you’re indoors most of the time.

✔️ Helps protect healing skin
✔️ Reduces the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation (PIH)
✔️ Supports better treatment results
✔️ An essential part of your post-procedure skincare routine

Remember: The procedure doesn’t end when you leave the clinic. Your aftercare makes all the difference.

A good cleanser should leave your skin feeling fresh, not tight or stripped.

The Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser is formulated to
✔️ Remove excess oil and impurities effectively
✔️ Help maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier
✔️ Suit only oily not acne prone

Oily scalp by Day 2?
Here are 2 dermatologist-approved hacks that can help between wash days. 👩‍⚕️✨

✔️ Dry shampoo helps absorb excess oil and adds volume when your scalp starts looking greasy.

✔️ Micellar water on the scalp can be a quick refresh for the hairline and parting, helping lift sweat, oil, and product buildup without a full wash.

These are temporary fixes—not replacements for a healthy scalp care routine. If your scalp is persistently oily, itchy, or flaky, it may be worth identifying the underlying cause rather than masking the symptoms.

💬 Which hack are you excited to try first? Let me know in the comments!
