What nails are?

Nail (anatomy), toughened protective protein-keratin (known as alpha-keratin, also found in hair) at the end of an animal digit.

Nails are composed of densely packed dead keratinocytes. They protect the fingers and toes from mechanical stress. The nail body is formed on the nail bed, which is at the nail root. Nail folds, folds of skin that overlap the nail on its side, secure the nail to the body.

Also long-long time ago our ancestors were using the nail as a tool to climb the trees and other things, like an animals.

Evolution made our lives easier and it changed our bodies and nails as well. We aren’t climbing to get the food 😅
Our nails became softer and don’t get so long, because we don’t need them to use in the same way like before.

And if your nails broken, soft-it’s totally ok. They shouldn’t be long for our comfortable life. They just protected our fingers, nothing more. It’s their function.

As a hair, we are using the nails as part of art or trends. That’s why it’s becoming so many ways to make them stronger or longer.

So keep calm and come to do your nails in the way of art♥️
