Rest in peace, Miss Universe 1963, Iêda Maria Brutto Vargas (December 31, 1944 – December 22, 2025).
She was the first Brazilian woman to win the Miss Universe crown, following three first runners-up finishes in 1954, 1957, and 1958.
Iêda is the ninth Miss Universe winner to pass away, joining the winners from 1955, 1958, 1960, 1962, 1967, 1970, 1974, and 1995.
Eduarda da Silva Braum from Brazil 🇧🇷 is the first reigning Miss Supranational winner to visit India 🇮🇳 during her reign since Anntonia Porsild of Thailand 🇹🇠in 2019.
From 2014 to 2019, Miss Supranational winners traditionally visited India during their reigns to crown India's representative for the Miss Supranational pageant. However, this tradition came to a halt in 2020 due to COVID-19. For Miss Diva 2024, scheduled for March 2025, Miss Supranational 2023, Andrea Aguilera from Ecuador 🇪🇨, was invited to grace the stage instead of the then reigning queen, Miss Supranational 2024, Harashta Haifa Zahra from Indonesia 🇮🇩.
Vipra Mehta has brought India 🇮🇳 into the top 21 of Miss Cosmo for the first time. However, she bids farewell to the crown as she did not advance to the top 10.
In less than two hours, Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss Universe 2021, will grace the finale of Miss Cosmo 2025 as a jury member.

Céline Hinaupoko Heirani "Hina" Devèze from Tahiti, who was my top choice to win the crown, has been crowned Miss France 2026. She is the sixth woman from her island to achieve this honor.
In my opinion, she has the potential to bring the Miss World crown to France for the first time since 1953!
Nearly three decades later, and that Miss World aura still shines through her!
I am thrilled that India 🇮🇳 has six remarkable and unique Miss World titleholders, but for me, Diana Hayden, Miss World 1997, stands out on a different level!
She is now happily married to her American husband and has three children, and they all live in the USA.

Hinaupoko Deveze is representing Tahiti in Miss France 🇫🇷 2026 on December 6.
She’s my favorite to win the crown, and become the second French Miss World!
I don’t follow Miss France 🇫🇷, therefore I don’t know who else is among the favorites to win!

What an outstanding performance at Miss Cosmo 2025 in Vietnam 🇻🇳!
She is a strong contender to finish in the top 5, or even the top 2, on December 20.
In my opinion, the crown is a competition between her, Brazil 🇧🇷, and Colombia 🇨🇴.

Mehak Dhingra is reordering India 🇮🇳 in Miss Charm 2025 in Vietnam 🇻🇳
The Miss Charm pageant started in 2023 with Brazil 🇧🇷 winning the first edition, followed by Malaysia 🇲🇾 winning the second edition in 2024.
India 🇮🇳 was unplaced in 2023 and reached the top 10 in 2024.
