Our products originate in the Icelandic wilderness, handpicked from the landscape of folk tales, fairy worlds and the Viking sagas. Iceland has a strong oral tradition that is both fantastical and practical as natural medicine has been handed down from generation to generation along with folk tales, legends and sagas. The Hrosshvalr, a creature of ancient Icelandic lore, has thus fittingly been chosen as the symbol of our brand. The inspiration for this beautiful version of the classical hippocamp, a fierce folkloric fusion of horse and whale, is depicted in the late 16th century drawings on Abraham Ortelius' map of Iceland. A creature of both sea and land, the Hrosshvalr combines the elements of our product line and represents its strong ties to both country and tradition. Our product line is designed to provide a holistic sense of relaxation that enables our customers to experience a connection to nature at its purest. SalArctica's logo builds on the rich poetic lore of a nation deeply connected to its natural roots. SalArctica is committed to the green energy tradition in Iceland that is based on the country's vast renewable energy resources that are being utilized in a sustainable way. Every step in our production process is geared towards leaving as small a carbon footprint as possible. We treat nature and our harvesting areas with the utmost care, both in selecting our herbs and harvesting our salt. Our brand and logo support the basis of our company, an operation inspired by the unrelenting forces of nature that have shaped our nation. Baðsöltin okkar eru til í mjög takmörkuðu upplagi. Þau eru úr handunnu sjávarsalti sem gengur af við matvælaframleiðslu m.a. vegna hás innihalds af magnesíum. Þetta gerir saltið frábært í baðið. Eina sem við bætum í það eru ilmkjarnaolíur úr Blóðbergi (Arctic thyme). 100 % vistvæn og náttúruleg vara og án allra aukaefna. Verð: 2100 kr dósin (350 gr)
