There are days the ancient stones of Castello di Petrata will never forget — and this was one of them. 🤍

As the Umbrian sun melted into the hills above Assisi, Daniela and Dylan exchanged vows beneath the huppah, surrounded by the people they love most. A string quartet drifted across the terrace, glasses were raised to a golden sunset, and the medieval courtyard came alive with candlelight, deep-red blooms and a first dance no one will forget.

By day, guests floated in the pool under the Italian sun. 🌿☀️ By night, the 14th-century castle glowed with festoon lights, live sax, and a celebration that danced late into the warm June air.

Three days. One castle, entirely their own. A wedding that became an experience. 🕊️

Ci sono giorni che le antiche pietre del Castello di Petrata non dimenticheranno mai — e questo è stato uno di quelli. 🤍

Mentre il sole si scioglieva tra le colline sopra Assisi, Daniela e Dylan si sono scambiati le promesse sotto la huppah, circondati dalle persone che amano di più. Un quartetto d'archi accompagnava l'aperitivo in terrazza, i calici si alzavano verso un tramonto dorato, e l'antica corte del castello si accendeva di candele, fiori rosso intenso e un primo ballo che nessuno dimenticherà.

Di giorno, gli ospiti si sono rilassati in piscina sotto il sole. Di sera, il castello del XIV secolo brillava di luci festose, sax dal vivo e una festa che è diurata fino a tarda notte.

Tre giorni. Un castello, tutto per loro. Un matrimonio che è diventato un'esperienza.

Colin and Hannah’s wedding was an exhilarating whirlwind of laughter, running, more laughter, and tears.

It was a true privilege for us to be there and photograph it.

There’s a very particular silence before a wedding when it rains.
A silence made of glances toward the sky, weather apps refreshed every few minutes, hidden anxiety, and the quiet hope that the clouds will somehow open at the perfect moment.

Every couple imagines sunshine.

C’è un silenzio molto particolare prima di un matrimonio quando inizia a piovere.
Un silenzio fatto di sguardi verso il cielo, applicazioni meteo controllate costantemente, ansia nascosta e la speranza che le nuvole possano aprirsi proprio al momento giusto.

Ogni coppia immagina il sole.
Ma a volte la natura sceglie un’atmosfera diversa. Più morbida. Più profonda. Più intima.

E poi succede qualcosa di inaspettato.

I colori diventano più intensi.
La pietra sembra più calda.
I giardini profumano di vita.
Il cielo diventa cinematografico.
Le persone si stringono un po’ di più.

La pioggia cambia il ritmo della giornata, ma non la sua bellezza.
Anzi, in molti casi rende tutto ancora più memorabile.

Perché anni dopo gli sposi non ricordano davvero le previsioni del tempo.
