"C'è un rosso che non urla, ma persuade. Il nostro Langhe Dolcetto arriva in calice con sfumature violacee, come certi tramonti di fine settembre sulle colline di Bra, quando l'uva è ancora tiepida di sole.
Al naso si apre generoso: frutta matura, fiori di campo, piccole bacche rosse, un bouquet che non chiede permesso. In bocca è morbido, avvolgente, di un equilibrio che sa di casa.
Matteo lo racconta con un dipinto e una canzone: il Canestro di frutta di Caravaggio, per quella stessa opulenza silenziosa della natura ferma sulla tela, e Invito al viaggio di Franco Battiato, perché ogni sorso è già un piccolo altrove, anche restando fermi ad un tavolo di Langa.
Il Dolcetto come dev'essere: suadente e bevibile.

🇬🇧 There is a red w**e that doesn’t scream, but persuades. Our Langhe Dolcetto arrives in the glass with violet hues, like certain late-September sunsets over the hills of Bra, when the grapes are still warm from the sun.
On the nose, it opens generously: ripe fruit, wildflowers, small red berries—a bouquet that doesn’t ask for permission. On the palate, it’s smooth, enveloping, with a balance that feels like home.
Matteo captures it in a painting and a song: Caravaggio’s ""Basket of Fruit"", for that same quiet opulence of nature frozen on the canvas, and Franco Battiato’s ""Invitation to Travel"", because every sip is already a little journey elsewhere, even while staying put at a table in the Langhe.
Dolcetto as it should be: persuasive and easy to drink."

Oltre 500 persone hanno affollato lunedì il nostro cortile per la prima edizione di 𝑰𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊.

La giornata è partita al mattino con il dibattito moderato da Chiara Cavalleris di Dissapore: più di 100 persone tra stampa, operatori HoReCa, istituzioni e associazioni, a discutere di indipendenza, rispetto e crescita fuori dai modelli dominanti.

Dal pomeriggio, quelle riflessioni sono diventate concrete: assaggi, incontri, musica dal vivo e 15 vini unplugged, ciascuno con il proprio abbinamento gastronomico e artistico.

Numeri che raccontano una cosa semplice: la voglia di ritrovarsi attorno a un modo diverso di fare impresa non era solo nostra.

🇬🇧 More than 500 people packed our courtyard,this Monday for the first edition of Irregolanti.

The day began in the morning with the panel discussion, moderated by Chiara Cavalleris of Dissapore: more than 100 people—including members of the press, HoReCa professionals, representatives from institutions, and associations—gathered to discuss independence, respect, and growth outside of dominant patterns.

Starting in the afternoon, those reflections took on a tangible form: tastings, meet-and-greets, live music, and 15 “unplugged” w**es, each paired with its own gastronomic and artistic element.

These numbers tell a simple story: the desire to come together around a different way of doing business wasn’t just ours.

C'è un dettaglio che succede ogni vendemmia, silenziosamente, tra i filari.
Chi raccoglie le uve mette il proprio nome sulla cassetta che ha appena riempito. Non è un obbligo, è un gesto. Significa che quelle uve sono tue, che la selezione che hai fatto è tua, che il vino che nascerà porta anche la tua firma.
Le stesse persone che hanno potato, legato e curato le viti per tutto l'anno sono le stesse che raccolgono. Conoscono ogni filare, ogni pianta. Sanno cosa hanno messo dentro, e sanno cosa vogliono ti**re fuori.
È un piccolo dettaglio che cambia tutto.

🇬🇧 There’s one detail that happens every harvest, quietly, among the rows of vines.
Those who harvest the grapes write their name on the crate they’ve just filled. It’s not a requirement—it’s a gesture. It means those grapes are yours, that the selection you’ve made is yours, and that the w**e that will be made also bears your signature.
The same people who have pruned, tied up, and tended the vines all year long are the ones who harvest them. They know every row, every vine. They know what they’ve put into it, and they know what they want to bring out of it.
It’s a small detail that changes everything.

Making w**e “unplugged” means taking away, not adding.

"C'è un vitigno che al d fuori del comune di Verduno quasi nessuno conosceva, e forse andava bene così.
Il Pelaverga è raro per definizione: esiste solo qui, su pochi ettari di collina, e non ha nessuna intenzione di diventare altro. Lo riconosci subito anche dalla bottiglia: etichetta azzurro acceso, un dettaglio controcorrente che dice già tutto sul vino che contiene. Con quella nota vellutata di pepe bianco che lo rende inconfondibile anche al palato.
Come la poesia ""I ragazzi che si amano"" di Jacques Prévert: bellezza improvvisa, libera, che appartiene solo a chi la vive.
O come nel film ""Le fate ignoranti"" di Ferzan Ozpetek: calore autentico, relazioni inaspettate, la scoperta che le cose più vere nascono dove meno te lo aspetti.
Bevetelo con tutto quello e con chi più vi piace.

🇬🇧 There is a grape variety that almost no one outside the village of Verduno knew about—and perhaps that was just as well.
Pelaverga is rare by definition: it exists only here, on a few hectares of hillside, and has no intention of becoming anything else. You recognize it immediately even by the bottle: a bright blue label, an unconventional detail that says it all about the w**e it contains. With that velvety note of white pepper that makes it unmistakable on the palate as well.
Like Jacques Prévert’s poem “Les enfants qui s’aiment”: sudden, free beauty that belongs only to those ones who experience it.
Or like in Ferzan Ozpetek’s movie “The Ignorant Fairies”: genuine warmth, unexpected connections, the discovery that the truest things arise where you least expect them.
Enjoy it with all of that—and with whatever and whoever you like best.

In cantina c'è sempre qualcuno che tiene tutto sotto controllo.
Giuseppe Ascheri, 33 anni, ingegnere. Settima generazione attiva nell'isola Ascheri. Si occupa di logistica e strategia, che tradotto significa: pianifica tutto, anche quello che non si può pianificare.
Il suo superpotere funziona anche fuori dall'orario di lavoro: è un degustatore seriale, con un occhio sempre in allerta per verificare che in cantina non si facciano cazzate.
Ama il basket e la musica. Quella buona, tiene a precisare. E non solo da ascoltatore: suona il basso nella sua band e la chitarra. Perché in famiglia, tra vini unplugged e vinili, una certa sensibilità musicale era inevitabile.

🇬🇧 There’s always someone at the w**ery keeping everything under control.
Giuseppe Ascheri, 33, an engineer. He’s the seventh generation of the family active on the Ascheri island. He handles strategy and logistics, which basically means: he plans everything—even the things you can’t plan.
His superpower works even outside of work hours: he’s a serial taster, always keeping a watchful eye to make sure no one screws up in the cellar.
He loves basketball and music—the good stuff, he’s quick to point out. And not just as a listener: he plays bass and guitar in his band. Because in a family surrounded by unplugged w**es and vinyl records, a certain musical sensibility was inevitable.

The treasures of our land must be protected, and agriculture must be preserved.

L'abbiamo inventata, questa parola. Perché non ne esisteva una abbastanza precisa per descrivere quello che avevamo in mente.
Gli 𝑰𝑹𝑹𝑬𝑮𝑶𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑻𝑰 non sono ribelli per caso. Sono persone e imprese che scelgono consapevolmente una traiettoria propria, anche quando il contesto suggerirebbe di accomodarsi dentro un formato già pronto.
