Elopements are one of the most intense and beautiful experiences in my work.
No trial. No previous appointment. The bride trusts you on the very same day, often without knowing you. And you have to be ready for everything — every skin type, every hair type, every style — on a day that will never happen again.
It is an act of mutual courage. The bride trusts you. You trust your craft.
My research on products is constant — textures, pigments, longevity. Every elopement is a real test, with no safety net.
This was an American couple with Italian roots, married in Varenna, Lake Como, at the breathtaking Villa Monastero. An intimate, emotional, authentic elopement. I had the privilege of being there, in that unrepeatable moment.
Trust is everything. The rest follows.

There is a moment, as I study a face, when I stop applying a technique and start truly seeing.

Noticing the details, reading what’s there. Technique is necessary, of course, but in the moment I observe and draw out, something comes into play that is entirely mine.

When I first met Kim, I immediately knew what she needed: her very fine hair called for a style that would give real fullness without any heaviness. And then there was Lake Como — the breeze, the humidity — so it had to hold beautifully all day long. No trial, just trust. I created something gathered and structured — don’t call it a chignon, it’s a shape built just for her, designed to give volume. For the makeup, the most natural choice: simply enhancing her beauty.✨☀️
