Oscar-winning composer (The Last of Us, Brokeback Mountain) Gustavo Santaolalla took the stage at the Fueguia 1833 gallery for a live performance celebrating the launch of Ronroco, an exclusive fragrance born from his collaboration with Fueguia 1833 founder, Julián Bedel. Drawing from the tonal qualities of the traditional Andean ronroco instrument, the scent translates wood and resonance into an olfactory composition built on resins and botanicals. Music and fragrance, together in one room.

Fueguia 1833 South Coast Plaza Gallery is now open.

Situated within South Coast Plaza, the new gallery embodies Fueguia 1833’s philosophy, a space where art, science, and the natural world exist in continuous dialogue.

Rooted in Julián Bedel’s long-standing artistic process, a sensorial language forms the foundation of the design. Handcrafted details invite ritual and contemplation. In conversation with its surroundings, the architecture draws subtle references from California villas and Southwestern adobe houses.

The complete universe of Fueguia 1833 is present within the gallery, from Atlas de Ingredientes to Fueguia Casa, Bitácora de Composición, and Pura Esencia, displayed on handcrafted wooden structures, the traditional alcove dedicated to the presentation of art objects.
