“Tra ottobre e novembre, quando la notte più buia abbraccia l’India e la luna nuova sorge nel cielo, le città si riempiono di luce: è Diwali!
In questa ricorrenza viene venerata la dea Lakshmi , seduta su un fiore di loto, con un vaso di monete che si riversano come simbolo di ricchezza,fortuna e prosperità non solo materiale ma spirituale .
Come vuole la tradizione , nei giorni precedenti le case vengono pulite , decorate con rangoli colorati sul pavimento e illuminate dalle lanterne che accendono le vie della città. I festeggiamenti proseguono nella notte sacra , con fuochi d’artificio, canti e danze per celebrare la vittoria del bene sul male, della luce sulle tenebre.”

“The destination of my journey is my imagination, always ready to set me off without having to take a step. With this project I wanted to return to one of the places I loved to visit in my childhood; through the lock of the bedroom door. Walking through the woods, I find myself in front of a waterfall illuminated by the sun's rays guiding me through an enchanted clearing. Every living thing that populates it is free to be what it wants. Like a frog with butterfly wings , or snails with glowing antennae like fireflies . Always on the way I find these cute blue-eyed mushrooms, observers of my every step, guiding me to the source of the clearing, the vortex of imagination . With its luminous flow it continues to give life to creatures and places visible only through my imagination, this is precisely the destination I want to reach when everything around seems chaotic and with no escape. A place where the mind relaxes and finds peace in small things.”
