Un nuovo capitolo per "Flowing Forms of Discontinuity in Life": l'opera di 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 realizzata in marmo 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐨 presso i laboratori Henraux.

In occasione di 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜 𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, la scultura arriva in Piazza Bra, a Verona.

Dopo la sua presentazione a White Carrara, prosegue il suo viaggio incontrando uno dei luoghi più iconici della città e mettendo in dialogo Carrara e Verona, due dei più importanti distretti della pietra italiana.

Siamo lieti di continuare il nostro percorso al fianco di Ross Lovegrove e di raccontare così, attraverso un'opera contemporanea, le possibilità espressive di una materia che affonda le proprie radici nella storia del territorio.

A new chapter for Flowing Forms of Discontinuity in Life: 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞’s sculpture, crafted in 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐨 marble at the Henraux workshops.

As part of 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜 𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the sculpture arrives in Piazza Bra, Verona.

After its presentation at White Carrara, the work continues its journey, encountering one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and bringing together Carrara and Verona, two of Italy’s most important stone districts.

We are delighted to continue our journey alongside Ross Lovegrove and, through a contemporary work, to explore the expressive possibilities of a material whose roots run deep in the history of the region.

Perché ogni progetto nasce dall’incontro tra la personalità unica della pietra e la visione di chi la sceglie.

✨ Nuovo mese, nuovo progetto

A settembre vi portiamo ad Austin, Texas, con 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜, un importante progetto realizzato per Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. su design di HKS Architects.

La lobby, pavimenti e rivestimenti sono stati realizzati con due materiali d’eccezione: 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲 e 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞.

Il risultato è un moderno ufficio commerciale, dove architettura e materia si incontrano per creare ambienti sofisticati e distintivi.

✨ New month, new project.

This September, we’re taking you to Austin, Texas, with 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜, a major project completed for Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. and designed by HKS Architects.

For the lobby, floors and wall coverings were crafted from two exceptional materials: 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐳𝐢𝐭𝐞 and 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐥𝐞.

The result is a contemporary commercial office where architecture and material come together to create sophisticated, distinctive spaces.

🙏 La 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞: una tradizione che continua.

Sabato 5 settembre, alla Cava delle Cervaiole, ci siamo ritrovati intorno alla 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞: un piccolo bassorilievo in marmo Bianco dell’Altissimo, realizzato nel 2000 dallo scultore Renzo Maggi, che da 26 anni accompagna la storia dei cavatori, delle loro famiglie e di Henraux.

Le sue radici affondano però ancora più lontano, nel 1946, quando alla Polla, a Mortigliano, fu istituita la festa originaria per iniziativa di don Dini, allora parroco di Azzano e Strettoia. Per l’occasione, Leone Tommasi realizzò il bassorilievo della Madonna con Bambino, oggi custodito alla Polla.

Da 26 anni, la celebrazione alle Cervaiole è molto più di una ricorrenza: è un momento per ritrovarsi, custodire una memoria e celebrare il legame profondo tra uomo, marmo e territorio. 🤍

🎶 Accompagnata dalla Filarmonica di Riomagno, la giornata si è conclusa con la tradizionale benedizione dei cavatori e delle loro famiglie, seguita da un momento di convivialità organizzato dal Comitato dei Cavatori.

Una storia nata 80 anni fa, che continua a vivere oggi, generazione dopo generazione, alle pendici del Monte Altissimo.

🙏 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞: a tradition that lives on.

On Saturday, September 5, we gathered at the Cervaiole Quarry around the 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞: a small bas-relief carved in Bianco dell’Altissimo marble, created in 2000 by sculptor Renzo Maggi, which for the past 26 years has been part of the story of the quarrymen, their families and Henraux.

⛰️ Its roots, however, reach much further back, to 1946, when the original celebration was established at La Polla, in Mortigliano, at the initiative of Don Dini, then parish priest of Azzano and Strettoia. For the occasion, Leone Tommasi created the bas-relief depicting the Madonna and Child, which is still preserved at La Polla today.

For 26 years, the celebration at Cervaiole has been much more than an annual occasion: it is a time to come together, preserve a shared memory and celebrate the deep bond between people, marble and the land. 🤍

🎶 Accompanied by the Riomagno Philharmonic Band, the day concluded with the traditional blessing of the quarrymen and their families, followed by a moment of conviviality organised by the Quarrymen’s Committee.

✨ A story that began 80 years ago and continues to live on today, from one generation to the next, on the slopes of Monte Altissimo.

𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐱 è orgogliosa di contribuire alla realizzazione di “La voce delle donne”, l’opera dell’artista 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, vincitrice del progetto promosso dall’ Associazione Martiri Sant'Anna di Stazzema 12 Agosto 1944, nato per rendere un omaggio permanente alle donne di Sant’Anna.

Alta 2,5 metri, l’opera sarà collocata in piazza Anna Pardini, luogo simbolico di memoria e testimonianza.

Un’opera che attraverso il marmo racconterà forza, coraggio e resilienza, dando voce alle storie delle donne di una comunità segnata dalla tragedia del 12 agosto 1944.

Perchè ricordare significa anche dare voce a ciò che non deve essere dimenticato. E lasciare che quella voce continui a vivere.

𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐱 is proud to contribute to the creation of “The Voice of Women”, an artwork by artist 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, winner of the project promoted by the Association of the Martyrs of Sant’Anna di Stazzema, created to pay a permanent tribute to the women of Sant’Anna.

Standing 2.5 metres tall, the artwork will be installed in Piazza Anna Pardini, a symbolic place of remembrance and testimony.

Through marble, the artwork will tell a story of strength, courage and resilience, giving voice to the stories of the women of a community forever marked by the tragedy of August 12, 1944.

Because remembering also means giving a voice to what must never be forgotten. And allowing that voice to live on.
