3 main factors that damage and age your skin
1. Stress
«Don’t Worry, Be Happy» is not only the line from the legendary song but also the credo you should follow to protect your skin.
Research papers show that a stressful environment will lead to premature aging. Just saying, «Just stress less,» is a bit of silly advice for most people.
But! There is a solution to minimize stress effects on your body. You should have at least 1 hour of full relaxation per day. It can be yoga, reading a book, walking with a dog, or even watching TV show! The main rule — it should not make your body go into «stress-response mode» (meaning don’t watch or read anything that will make you to exiting)
2. Not using SPF
Sometimes applying SPF might be annoying, but it’s crucial for healthy and radiant skin.
Even if it’s a gloomy day outside, you must use SPF with a protection level of at least 30, or better, 50. UV rays easily pe*****te clouds and age your precious skin.
3. Hydration
Our skin is 64% water. What happens if you don’t drink enough? Well, skin cannot recover quickly since it will miss its most vital component.
Of course, you can use a good anti-aging cream or essence to boost hydration (we make one of the best, wink-wink), but it’ll not protect you 100% if you drink just 2 glasses of water daily. 2 liters of liquid should do the job. All liquids count, tea, juice, and soda are okay, so if you are not a fan of water, you can find the drink of your choice
Important note: coffee DOES NOT count because it has a mild diuretic effect.

3 reasons why Japanese skincare is better than American
Reason 1: the highest production quality. It’s no secret that Japan is extremely technologically advanced, and Japanese people are super pedantic regarding their job.
Meaning when Summus is produced, the purity level in a lab is higher than in a typical US medical factory. All personnel wear a special sterile (which can be used just once) suit and must go through the full body disinfection procedure before entering the production area.
Reason 2: active ingredients. When a generic US brand has 2 or 3 active ingredients in a single product… Summus has up to 12, from Niacinamide and 3D Hyaluronic Acid to Collagen and Vitamin C.
Moreover, US brands often outsource their production to cheap Chinese manufacturers, worsening quality control.
Does it make the production cost higher than a typical mass-market brand? Yes. But does it make the effectiveness tenfold higher? Absolutely. Instead of using dozens of products, you can use just 2-3 and have even better results.
Reason 3: this point is not relevant to skincare's actual effectiveness but is super important from the ethical side. The thing is, all skincare made in Japan is completely cruelty-free and made sustainably. It’s illegal by law to harm animals during the production process.
Moreover, all-natural ingredients used in Japanese products are harvested locally and in an environmentally friendly way. On the downside, yes, it raises the cost of production. But, at the same time, whenever you buy Japanese skincare, you ensure you do not multiply evil in the world.

Warning: These 3 beauty products are secretly damaging your skin!
Ditch these 3 beauty products ASAP for healthier, flawless skin.
- Physical scrubs
There is a place for physical scrubs for your body; however, the dedicated body scrubs can be easily replaced by a simple washcloth. On the other hand, there is no place for a physical scrub in your face routine.
Your face is super gentle and doesn’t require such harsh treatment. A good cleansing in combination with chemical scrub will do the job. And even chemical scrubs should be applied once weekly, especially if you have dry skin. Plus, it’s crucial to put in a good moisturizer after you scrub your face.
- All-natural products
I know, I know, it may sound controversial, but let’s be honest here. Natural ingredients are awesome, and we use them in our product line all the time… but only in conjunction with non-natural ingredients they can truly blossom.
Often, buying all-natural skincare is like flipping a coin, where on one side, you have «minor positive effects» and, on the other, «allergies and strong adverse reactions.» Plus, all-natural products either have a small storage life or rely heavily on alcohol as a preservative. Modern products combine both for the best effects.
- Pore Strips
It’s the same story as with physical scrubs. Over-exfoliation is bad, especially if you have sensitive skin. These strips usually do more harm than good by creating micro tears and unwanted irritations.
Plus, next few days, your skin will try to overcompensate and produce even more oils, that in return, will cause more blackheads.

TOP-4 mistakes people make in their skincare routines
When it comes to skincare, we all want to have clear, glowing skin. However, sometimes our skincare routines can actually be doing more harm than good. Here are some common skincare mistakes that everyone should avoid:
Mistake #1: Over-cleansing
Cleansing is important for removing dirt and oil from our skin, but over-cleansing can actually strip away the natural oils that keep our skin healthy. It's best to stick to cleansing twice a day, and use a gentle cleanser that won't dry out your skin.
Mistake #2: Skipping sunscreen
Sun damage is one of the leading causes of premature aging and skin damage. Even if you don't plan on being outside for long periods of time, it's important to apply sunscreen daily to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
Mistake #3: Not removing makeup properly
Leaving makeup on overnight can clog pores and cause breakouts. Make sure to remove all traces of makeup before going to bed, and consider using a double-cleansing method to ensure that your skin is thoroughly clean.
Mistake #4: Neglecting your neck and chest
Many people focus solely on their face when it comes to skincare, but neglecting your neck and chest can lead to premature aging and sun damage. Make sure to extend your skincare routine to your neck and chest as well.
By avoiding these common skincare mistakes, you can improve the health and appearance of your skin. Remember, consistency is key when it comes to skincare, so stick to a routine that works well for you and your skin type.

Rice has been a dietary staple in Japan for centuries, and is eaten at almost every meal. It's rich in complex carbohydrates, which provide a slow and steady release of energy throughout the day. This makes it an ideal food for maintaining energy levels and keeping you feeling full and satisfied.
In addition to being a great source of energy, rice is also incredibly nutritious. It contains essential vitamins and minerals like iron, magnesium, and vitamin B6, which are important for maintaining good health. Rice is also low in fat and cholesterol, making it a heart-healthy choice.
But rice is just the beginning of the healthy Japanese diet. Japanese cuisine is full of fresh, seasonal ingredients like fish, vegetables, and tofu. These foods are often grilled or lightly cooked, preserving their natural flavors and nutrients. The Japanese also have a strong tradition of eating small portions, which helps to keep calorie intake in check.
Another important aspect of the Japanese diet is the emphasis on variety. Meals typically include a wide variety of foods, with a focus on balance and harmony. This means that each meal will include a mix of different food groups, like protein, vegetables, and carbohydrates.
Finally, the Japanese diet is not just about what you eat, but how you eat it. The Japanese have a tradition of eating slowly and mindfully, savoring each bite and enjoying the flavors and textures of their food. This helps to promote digestion and reduce overeating.
In conclusion, the Japanese diet is a delicious and healthy way of eating that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients, small portions, and variety. And at the center of it all is the humble rice, which provides essential nutrients and energy to keep you feeling great all day long. So next time you're looking for a healthy and tasty meal, why not try a Japanese dish? Your taste buds and your body will thank you!

In Japan, taking a bath is not just a way to get clean, it is a cultural experience that is deeply ingrained in everyday life. The Japanese bath culture, or "onsen" as it is known in Japanese, is an essential part of the country's history and traditions. Japanese bath culture has many benefits, including relaxation, health benefits, and a focus on beauty and skincare.
The Japanese believe that bathing is a way to cleanse both the body and the mind. They believe that soaking in hot water can improve circulation, relieve stress and tension, and promote relaxation. This is why Japanese bath culture has become so popular over the years, and why so many Japanese people take baths regularly.
Japanese bath culture also places a lot of importance on skincare and beauty. The Japanese believe that taking a bath can help to remove dirt and impurities from the skin, leaving it clean and refreshed. This is why many Japanese people take a bath before bed, to remove the day's grime and help their skin look and feel its best.
Another important aspect of Japanese bath culture is the use of hot springs or "onsen". These natural hot springs are found throughout Japan and are said to have a variety of health benefits. The minerals and other natural substances found in these hot springs are believed to promote healing, improve circulation, and even boost the immune system.
In addition to the health benefits of hot springs, they also provide a unique cultural experience for visitors to Japan. Many hot springs are located in beautiful natural settings, such as mountains or forests, and offer stunning views of the surrounding area. This makes them a popular destination for tourists looking to experience the beauty of Japan's natural landscapes.

4 common myths about Japan
Japan is a fascinating country with a rich culture and history. However, there are many misconceptions and myths about Japan that are perpetuated in popular media and cultural narratives. In this post, we will debunk five of these myths and shed light on the true nature of Japan.
Myth #1: Japan is a homogeneous country.
Contrary to popular belief, Japan is not a homogeneous country. While the majority of the population is of Japanese ethnicity, there are also significant populations of Korean, Chinese, and other ethnic groups. In recent years, Japan has also seen an increase in immigration, resulting in a more diverse population. Moreover, even within the Japanese population, there is a rich cultural and linguistic diversity across different regions of the country.
Myth #2: Japanese people are all shy and reserved.
Another common myth about Japan is that the people are all shy and reserved. While it is true that Japanese culture values politeness and respect, this does not mean that Japanese people are all introverted. In fact, Japanese people are often quite friendly and outgoing, particularly in social settings such as festivals or parties.
Myth #3: Japan is a technological utopia.
Japan is often portrayed as a country on the cutting edge of technology, with futuristic gadgets and robotics. While it is true that Japan has made significant contributions to the field of technology, the reality is more nuanced. Many parts of Japan are still quite rural and traditional, with limited access to advanced technology.
Myth #4: Japan is an overly formal and rigid society.
Japan is often characterized as a society that is overly formal and rigid, with strict social norms and expectations. While it is true that Japanese culture places a high value on etiquette and protocol, this does not mean that the society is devoid of creativity or spontaneity. In fact, Japan has a thriving arts and culture scene, with many festivals and events celebrating music, dance, and other forms of creative expression.
