After almost 6,000 km on the road… WE ARE HOME. 🥹❤️

And I don’t think home has ever felt this good.

We have lived in three countries. We have called different places home. We have packed, moved, adjusted, started again, and learned how to belong in new places.

But tonight, standing here in , tired beyond words and ridiculously happy, home feels different.

Maybe because of what it took to get back here.

Before this journey even started, almost everything seemed to shout, “Give up.”

There were obstacles. Delays. Unexpected problems. Moments when the sensible thing would have been to cancel the whole thing and stay home. At times, it felt as though every door had decided to test whether we really meant what we said when we claimed we were walking by faith.

But deep inside, we believed our Father in Heaven was leading us. We believed the Lord Jesus Christ wanted us to take this journey.

So we went.

And guys…

WE DID IT. 😭🙌🏾

Almost 6,000 kilometres.
21 states.
Washington, D.C.
Eleven unforgettable days.
A whole lot of driving.
A whole lot of “Are we there yet?”
And memories we will probably be talking about for the rest of our lives. 😂❤️

But there is something even bigger than the miles.

People.

We could never have done this alone.

To every person who gave.
Every person who prayed.
Every person who checked on us.
Every family that opened their home.
Every person who fed us.
Those who entertained our children and made them feel loved.
Those who encouraged us when things looked impossible.
Those who helped us get back on the road when things went wrong.
And most importantly, everyone who gave us a platform and allowed this little family to stand before people, sing, minister, share our story and put ourselves out there…

Thank you.

Thank you for believing in us before there was anything impressive to believe in.

Thank you for becoming part of this story.

And Lord Jesus…

Thank You for believing in us too.

For every mile.
Every open door.
Every provision.
Every safe arrival.
Every person You placed along the road.
Every moment when we thought, How on earth is this going to work? — and somehow, You made a way.

Tonight there are no stages.
No microphones.
No interstate signs.
No hotel check-ins.
No GPS announcing, “Continue for 267 miles.” 😂

Just this family standing underneath an ARKANSAS sign at some ridiculous hour of the night…

…and one beautiful sentence:

WE ARE HOME. ❤️

We did it, guys.

WE DID IT.

And all glory belongs to Jesus. 🙌🏾❤️

UPDATE FROM NEW YORK – IMANIFEST 2026 🇺🇸🎶

If someone had told us last week that The Bongo Family would be standing on a stage in New York ministering together… we would have smiled and said, “Amen… but have you seen our car?” 😂

Our vehicle apparently held an emergency family meeting the day before departure and unanimously decided, “We are not going anywhere.” 🚗💨

The timing was spectacular. If cars could choose dramatic exits, ours deserved an Oscar.

For a brief moment, it felt like every possible thing that could go wrong had formed a WhatsApp group.

“No vehicle.”
“No fuel money.”
“Seven people.”
“Thousands of miles.”
“Who’s hosting them?”
“Who’s feeding them?”

The enemy really came prepared…

…but he forgot one small detail.

God had already gone ahead of us.

Families opened their homes.
Others provided meals.
Others contributed towards fuel.
Others chipped in to hire a vehicle.
Some prayed.
Some encouraged.
Some simply believed in a dream that looked impossible.

Piece by piece, prayer by prayer, God used ordinary people to perform extraordinary miracles.

And because of your kindness, the Bongo Family stood on a New York stage at IMANIFEST 2026, lifting up the name of Jesus.

Looking back, we realize this trip was never going to be powered by horsepower.

It was powered by God’s faithfulness… and by people whose generosity became the hands and feet of Christ.

To every person who gave, hosted, prayed, encouraged, shared, believed, or sacrificed so we could be here…

Thank you for giving to the Lord.

You didn’t just help us reach New York.

You helped carry the Gospel, one song at a time.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…” — Ephesians 3:20

From the entire Bongo Family…

Asante sana. God bless you beyond what you gave.❤️
