Astoria Salon and Suites

Honest question for my stylist friends—

Do you actually know what you’re keeping…
or just what you’re bringing in?

Because once you break the numbers down,
it can be a $10,000+ difference a year.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong —
just because most of us were never taught to look at it this way.

Let’s normalize understanding what we’re signing.

This industry is built on talent, but too many stylists feel stuck, confused, or limited by things they don’t fully understand.

This isn’t about telling anyone to leave where they are—it’s about making sure you know your options.

You deserve clarity. You deserve confidence. And you deserve to build something that actually works for your life.

Running a business comes with unexpected hurdles — sometimes it’s just about putting out little fires and keeping your faith strong through it all.

Astoria experienced a flood due to the recent weather, but a restoration team is already working and new flooring will be installed soon. We’re expecting about two weeks before everything is back up and running.

To anyone starting something new or building a dream — don’t give up when challenges show up. God doesn’t give you a vision to walk away from it. He gives it to help you grow, learn new parts of yourself, and step into new levels of strength, patience, and grace. Every setback is just part of the story.

Thank you all for your support and patience. I’ll keep everyone updated and can’t wait to see you back soon. 🤍

When you give it to God, life changes ✨
I listened. I prepared. And everything unfolded.

Some may call it delusion —
✨ I call it faith. ✨

The valley came, and I still praised.
I speak life, not fear. I’m covered and resilient.

From a chair in my living room
to 4,000 square feet 🤯🤍

Here’s to a new beginning —
and making room for what God already promised 🙏🏽✨
