Identify your triggers......the first thing you should do is to take a hard look at where in your day you're commonly engaging in the behavior

Make a running list of urges.... act of self-monitoring can reduce the behavior in and of itself

Keep your nails short.
You might tend to bite your nails more when they're long — which is why it's a good idea to trim them short to help yourself kick the habit. If there's not enough nail for you to grab with your teeth, it won't be as satisfying when you go to bite them

Address beneath-the-surface emotions.
Sometimes, the trigger causing you to stick your fingers in your mouth isn't physical, but emotional. In this case, changing your surroundings won't help too much on its own,

Get a nice manicure... you'll be less likely to want to ruin them by biting if you've spent money and effort to make them look so nice.

Keep your hands or mouth busy.

Coat your nails with a bad taste.

When it's time to seek help:
If all else fails, you might want to consider finding a therapist, as nail-biting can be a sign or symptom of a more serious problem such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or another anxiety disorder

It's a type of manicure that involves layering a nail-product — either acrylic, gel, or dip — onto the nails without extending their length.
It provides added strength and durability to your nails, making them less prone to breakage and damage. This is especially beneficial for individuals with weak or brittle nails who struggle to grow them out.

That said, you can choose to go to a trusted educator for one on one practical and theory sessions.

You can choose us. Yes, we offer flexible learning schedules. Putting into consideration your location and availability in terms of time. Dm for more information.

How Can You Improve The Look of Discoloured Toenails?

You have to first find out what is causing the discolouration. The main ones being
*fungus
*trauma
*bruising
*genetics

How to reduse the appearance of discolouration.
1. Wear appropriate size shoes
Properly fitting shoes are also a must to avoid repetitive micro-trauma. Consistent trimming, cleansing, and filing of the nails are important as well to try to avoid discoloration-causing trauma and infection.

2. Consider supplements
Sometimes, yellowing nails can be a sign of a vitamin deficiency. Vitamins and supplements, like collagen can have a positive effect on nail health and color. Consult your physician before starting any supplement or vitamin regimen.

3. Sanitization
Properly caring for your feet may help prevent both disease and discoloration in myriad way.
Avoiding walking barefoot in any public places and wearing only clean socks. Avoid rewearing and changing socks frequently if you are active. Dark, moist places are where bacteria thrive, and you’ll want to avoid giving them an easy place to grow.

I get this question a lot, with a lot of my melanin rich clients thinking that some colours are too bold or bright for them.

There isn't a single shade that doesn't work for melanin-rich skin. Vibrant, high-impact colours pop against your pigment, while deep, sultry shades are practically created for those with deeper skin tones.

Trust me it looks good as lond as the manicure is good😉👌👌
