If you intend on using heat, here is a routine that will protect your hair and keep it strong for the process.
1️⃣ Clarifying Shampoo
- Deeply cleanses scalp and hair
- Ideal for monthly washes to remove buildup
2️⃣ Protein Deep Conditioner
- Strengthens and repairs damaged hair
- Use every 4–8 weeks, depending on hair porosity
- Always follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner on the same washday proteins can make hair feel stiff
3️⃣ Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
- Adds moisture, shine, smoothness, elasticity, and improves manageability
- Use every washday, even when using protein treatments
4️⃣ Leave-In Conditioner
- Helps retain moisture between washes
- If unsure of your moisture cycle, apply every 2–3 days
5️⃣ Oil of Choice
- Apply after leave-in conditioner to seal in moisture
- Keeps hair hydrated longer
6️⃣ A heat protectant serum helps shield hair from damage caused by blow dryers, flat irons, and curling tools by forming a protective barrier that reduces dryness, frizz, and breakage.
