Hormonal Imbalance in Women

Unlike fibroids, there isn't a single test or number that confirms a hormonal imbalance. It can involve several hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormones, insulin, and cortisol. As a result, statistics vary depending on the hormone involved and a woman's age.

How Common Is It?

Overall

- 1 in 3 women will experience some form of hormonal imbalance during their lifetime.
- Up to 80% of women experience hormone-related symptoms during perimenopause and menopause, typically in their 40s and 50s.

By Age Group

Teens–20s

- PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome) is the leading cause of hormonal imbalance during the reproductive years.
- Approximately 1 in 10 women are affected by PCOS.

30s

- Hormonal changes related to pregnancy, stress, and thyroid disorders become more common.
- Around 20–30% of women report symptoms such as irregular periods, fatigue, and weight changes.

35–45 Years

- Many women begin perimenopause.
- Fluctuating estrogen and progesterone levels can cause symptoms such as irregular periods, hot flashes, and mood swings.
- About 70–80% of women experience some of these changes.

45–55 Years

- Menopause occurs, and hormone levels decline significantly.
- Nearly all women go through this natural transition.

Common Causes of Hormonal Imbalance

1. Perimenopause and menopause
2. Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS)
3. Thyroid disorders (women are 5–8 times more likely than men to develop them)
4. Chronic stress and poor sleep
5. Birth control, significant weight changes, and diet

Common Signs to Watch For (Especially After Age 35)

- Irregular, heavy, or missed periods
- Weight gain, particularly around the abdomen
- Fatigue and difficulty sleeping
- Mood changes, anxiety, irritability, or brain fog
- Acne, thinning hair, or dry skin
- Hot flashes
- Reduced libido
- Fertility challenges

Why It Matters

If left unaddressed, hormonal imbalances may increase the risk of:

- Osteoporosis (bone loss)
- Heart disease
- Diabetes and metabolic disorders
- Fertility problems
- Mood disorders

If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, don't ignore them, seek help!

Preeclampsia is a complication of pregnancy. With preeclampsia, you might have high blood pressure, high levels of protein in urine that indicate kidney damage (proteinuria), or other signs of organ damage. Preeclampsia usually begins after 20 weeks of pregnancy in women whose blood pressure had previously been in the standard range.

Left untreated, preeclampsia can lead to serious — even fatal — complications for both the mother and baby. We have a natural solution to reduce the risk. Whatsapp +254722655098

ANTI MULLERIAN HORMONE (AMH)
Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a protein in the body that we usually test for its levels to get a clue on how many eggs are left in the female body before menopause.

AMH plays a key role in developing a baby's s*x organs while in the womb. AMH levels are higher in male babies, as this prevents them from developing female reproductive organs. Female babies only need a small amount of AMH for their development.

Typical AMH level for a fertile woman is 1.0–4.0 ng/ml; under 1.0 ng/ml is considered low and indicative of a diminished ovarian reserve.

Low levels of AMH mean you may have fewer eggs available and may not respond well to treatment. You may also need an AMH test if you are a woman with symptoms of polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS). These include: Menstrual disorders, including early menopause or amenorrhea
AMH levels are invariably higher than normal in women with PCOS. Due to a high number of antral follicles in PCOS, the normal menstrual function is disturbed, which leads to irregular cycles, arrest in the maturation of eggs, and resultant sub-fertility.
Our fertility boosters will help you to boost your AMH LEVELS.

The things they don’t tell you about miscarriage…

📌Your body doesn’t recognize that your baby(ies) aren’t there for awhile.
📌You’re breast milk doesn’t just go away and you don’t get to get slim because of breastfeeding.
📌Your hips and back still hurt for about a month because you are readjusting at an extreme.

📌You feel guilt because it was “literally your job”.

📌Watching everyone’s emotions seems underwhelming because their life hasn’t changed much.

📌You want to hide future pregnancies and excitement because you are afraid that you will “fail” again.
📌No one says Happy Mother’s Day because technically …well ya know.

I’m here to say your body is perfect and if your heart desires to be a mother you will find a way to give that love to someone
