Wet Pillows and Hollow Spaces:
A heart that still breaks in silence.
A cold, hollow space that words can’t fully explain.
This is the journey of a grieving mother! a journey that doesn’t end. 🕊️
Some days feel unbearable. Some nights feel endless.
But even here, in this ache, there is strength I didn’t know I had.
I am still here.
I'm still breathing, I'm standing, and I have chosen to keep the love even in the loss. ❤️

And if you are walking this road too, please hear me:
You are not alone. 🤍
Your pain is real, but so is your strength.
And even through the tears, healing is quietly finding its way to you. ✨
Let's keep the love and the memories we shared with our departed children.

It didn’t kill me, but something changed,
A piece of me lost, forever estranged.
I walked away, yet not the same,
A shadowed soul, a quiet flame.
That day took part of who I was,
Left me searching, without cause.
I carry on, but feel the void,
A heart once whole, now destroyed.
It didn’t end me, but I’m not whole!
An echo remains, deep in my soul.
I’m here, I breathe, but truth denied
A part of me, that day, quietly died.

Honoring the Love, the Life, and the Legacy
✨ Day 1 — A Love That Still Lives ✨

Today, I gently step into a series by honoring the love that didn’t end. ❤️. It's on this day, 11 years (2014) down the memory lane, that I choose to encourage someone out there who could be healing like me, as I honour Stellah

A child may grow wings, but a mother’s heart keeps them close, always. Grief is not a sign of weakness; it is powerful proof that love existed deeply, beautifully, and forever. 🫂

Message to the Mum/Parent:
Your tears carry love. Your silence carries love. 💖

Even on the days you feel completely broken, know that love still lives in you. Your child is not forgotten. You are not alone. Hold that truth tight today. 🕊️

Message to Siblings/Friends/Cousins:
We see your grief, too. It’s okay to remember. It’s okay to miss them. The bond you shared still matters deeply. You are allowed to feel everything. Please know you are welcome here. 🌟

Today's Thought: Love is the reason for our grief, and love will be the source of our healing.

We begin together: Share a 💖 in the comments if your love is still alive and strong today.

Day 7 of: Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes

The Love Continues:
Our Goodbye Is Just a Pause. 💫
Here we are, at the end of our "Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes" series. Thank you, from the deepest part of my heart, for walking this tender journey with me this week.

We started by affirming that the thread of love never breaks. We've explored the whispers and signs that confirm their presence, the sacred rituals that keep them in our everyday life, and the living legacies that channel our grief into purpose. We affirmed our unchanging title, that we are still and forever their parent.

What we’ve truly discovered is this: The goodbye was only a pause. It was a single moment in a love story that spans eternity. We don't have to choose between remembering and living. We choose to live with them, carrying their light forward every single day.

They are not just memories; they are the enduring love that shapes our future. Until the day we meet again, we carry them in our actions, our hearts, and in the love we share with the world.

Today's final thought: Our love story didn't end. It just became infinite.

As we close this series, I invite you to carry this message with you.

What is the one lesson or realization from this week that you will carry forward into the coming week? Share your intention below!

Day 6 of: Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes
Telling her Story:
Keeping her Name Stellah W Maina the Sweetest Sound. 📖
Welcome back to our series. We're nearing the end, and today we focus on one of the most powerful acts of love we have: storytelling and memory.

The fear that her voice, her laughter, or her name might fade is one of the biggest heartbreaks we face. But I refuse to let that happen. We must never let the fear of sadness stop us from sharing the joy she brought.

When I speak my child’s name, Stellah, when I share a funny or silly thing she did.It makes me laugh again. Memories aren't ghosts; they are anchors of love ❤️proof that her life was real, vibrant, and continues to impact us. Telling her story is not dwelling on the past; it’s celebrating her ongoing, beautiful presence.

Her name is the sweetest sound, and I will never stop saying it.

Today's thought: Every shared memory is a moment that reflects she lives again.

Let's honor our loved ones today with laughter and light.

Day 5 of: Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes

Forever Am A Mother:
A Role That Never Expires. 🫂
Welcome back to the "Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes" series. Today, we're talking about identity, specifically, the one title that death cannot steal: I am A Mother.

When you lose a child, the world changes how it sees you, and sometimes, you even question who you are. The duties of mothering shift dramatically, but I fight every day to affirm this truth: I am still a mother. That title doesn't expire. 👑

My role didn't end; it transformed. I might not be tucking her in or packing her lunch, but I am still fiercely protecting her story, celebrating her birthday like a holiday, and making sure her light shines brightly in the world. 🌞

The world may see me as a grieving woman, but before all else, I am still me.
My mother's heart is still working overtime, fueled by eternal love. I will always be the custodian of her memory and her legacy.

Today's thought: Your title as a mother is sealed by love, not by presence.

I'd love to honor this enduring role with you.

What is your favorite part about being the parent, sibling, or child of the loved one you miss? Please focus on the role itself.

Please feel free to share your heart below.

Day 4 of: Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes

Coffee for Two: Making Space for Them in the Everyday. 🕯️

Today, we're talking about the quiet, sacred moments we create to keep our children close, routine, and rituals.

When a physical goodbye happens, you realize the desperate need to create new ways to "parent" and connect. For me, these aren't grand gestures, but small, intentional acts woven into my day.🌹

Maybe it's the morning ritual of lighting a candle and whispering good morning, or placing their favorite small object where I can see it. Sometimes, it's just a quiet moment of reflection, talking to their photo, or playing 'our' song. 🎶

These aren't acts of sorrow. They are powerful declarations of continued love, acts of inclusion. They remind me that even though they're not physically here, they are still a cherished part of my everyday life, always. My heart still makes space for two, always. ❤️

Today's thought:
Love transforms grief into sacred rituals.

I'd love to hear from you.

What small, sacred rituals or routines do you have that help you feel connected to your loved one? Share your beautiful ways of keeping them present!

Day 3 of: Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes

Turning Love Into Action:
My Child's Legacy Lives Through Me. ✨
Hello, beautiful community. We're on Day 3 of "Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes," and today we’re talking about purpose.

When a child leaves us, a part of our world shatters. The goodbye felt like an ending, a void. But for many grieving parents, that immense love and grief become a powerful catalyst for something more. 💪

For me, channeling that love into action has been a way to keep my child's spirit vibrant and alive. Every act of kindness I choose, every story I share, every time I commit to finding joy—it’s not just for me. It's building a living memorial to their beautiful life. ❤️

Their spirit fuels my purpose. It transforms sorrow into strength and pain into profound meaning. It's how I ensure their light continues to shine in the world, through me. 🌟

Today's thought: Grief can break you, or it can inspire you to build.

Now, I'd love to hear from you.

Have you started a new project, joined a cause, or embraced a new way of living in honor of a loved one? How has their memory inspired your actions?

Share your heart below. Let's celebrate these living legacies!

Day 2 of the series:
Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes!

Did I Just Feel You? Recognizing Signs and Whispers. ❤️
Welcome back to our series! Yesterday, we established that our love never ends, it just transforms. Today, let’s talk about how that transformed love reaches us: through signs and whispers.

As a grieving mum, I’ve learned to recognize the unspoken language of the heart.

It’s not always a grand miracle. Sometimes, it’s a sudden, familiar song on the radio 📻 at the perfect moment. Maybe a feather appears on your path, or a vivid dream feels like a visit. For some, it might seem like a coincidence. But for me, these are confirmations, its my child’s beautiful way of saying, "I’m still here, Mum."

These moments bring a profound peace. They are proof that our connection remains vibrant and that the goodbye was truly only physical.

Today's thought: Pay attention to the subtle whispers. They are love letters from beyond.

Now tell me: Have you ever received a sign or felt an undeniable presence from a loved one? What was it?

Share your beautiful stories below!

Day 1 of :
Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes!

👋🏾Hi everyone,

I'm back on the road again this week, and I've been thinking about the hardest thing any grieving mum has to face: the "goodbye".

It’s the most final word in our language, but for those of us who have lost a child, we quickly learn that it’s actually a lie. The physical goodbye was agonizing, yes. But the "love? The connection? The bond of motherhood?" Those things don't end. They simply transform.

This week, I want to dive into a 7-day series called ,"Goodbyes That Are Never Goodbyes." We’re going to explore how our children stay with us,not just as fading memories, but as a real, enduring presence, in our daily lives.

My heart still aches for a hug, but my soul knows that my child is still here, woven into the fabric of my life. The thread of our love never broke; it just became invisible to the eye.

💭Today’s thought:
A goodbye is merely a physical separation. The rest is eternal.

I can’t wait to share this journey with you. If you know this feeling, if you understand that love transcends death, I want to hear from you.

🎤Tell me: How do you keep your loved one's spirit alive and present in your life today?
