My name is Michael ngige I think a number of people know me, no matter when our paths have crossed. Maybe some like me, and others don't, but if you are on my Facebook, I want to believe that we are friends. WHY IT BROKE
In this life the only beautiful thing is LOVE(giving or receiving)

Having someone to share your feelings is something nice and profound to do like knowing that when u'll go home u'll meet someone who will have missed you and is ready to relate with how ur day was,,that feels heavenly
But when you get home and still find someone but he/she doesn't feel safe after seeing you or even ur not feeling like going home feeling out of place yet there you have someone who is considered as ur wife/husband or girlfriend /boyfriend

This is why it broke, one of you is not responding to the things that matters in your relationship e.g remember a pot can take many form when it's still wet but once it dries up the only thing it can do is break. even a branch bends wil still wet but breaks wen dry

3. Creating time anytime of the day to check on ur other half

5. Always show appreciation even in the smallest thing or gesture he/she shows
6. Let her/him know ur intentions, interest over time when hobbies change also
7. Respect by putting him/her in every decision you are making even if its personal it will make him/her feel worthy
8. Love and pray together even, if ur far pray over the phone
9.never ignore anything they say or assume to do it later
10. Talk about God and how you would want him in ur life's

11. Be courageous to go for what you want. Life is all about risk. If you don't take a risk, you will not get the desires of your heart.

Relationships between humans are messy. They aren’t always going to be clean, easy or harmonious.

Relationships are the expression of two distinct thought-worlds smashing into each other, separate planets suddenly fusing into one entirely new celestial body.

You think there isn't going to be some fire and chaos and confusion and doubt and even utter destruction of the precious realities you've long held as true in your old safe little world?

There will indeed be fire and confusion!

The world you've known is coming to an end. Now you're learning to live on this new planet that isn't even done forming itself. It's never done forming.

Like any living thing, a relationship is always evolving, changing, endlessly cycling from life to death back to life on its march towards infinity.

Of course you're going to feel disoriented and destabilized, even completely lost sometimes.

At times you'll probably even hate this new world you're creating with this other human. It's unfamiliar, the rules are different here, and the natives don't always (or even often) behave or think in ways you'd expect.

Some part of you will probably always want to escape this new planet, too, thinking there's another planet much more hospitable to your way of life ... somewhere out there!

Though if you do rocket off this strange planet, you’ll only land somewhere else where the same physics apply. You live in a human universe.

You cannot escape yourself.

So be gentle as you collide relationship-wise with another human.

You can rest assured that if either of you knew how to do it better, you would absolutely do it better.

No one (with a conscience) goes into a relationship thinking, "I can't wait to screw up this person's life!"

If your relationship isn't at least a bit messy and disorienting at times, you're probably exerting way too much effort in trying to control the collision.

The cockroach theory for self-development
At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.
She started screaming out of fear.
With a face stricken with panic and a trembling voice, she began to jump, both her hands desperately attempting to rid herself of the cockroach. Her reaction spread like wildfire, causing everyone in her group to also become panicky.
After a valiant effort, the lady succeeded in pushing the cockroach away, but to everyone's dismay, it landed on another lady in the group. Now, it was the turn of the second lady in the group to carry on the drama.
The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.
In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.
The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behaviour of the cockroach on his shirt.
When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.
Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behaviour?
If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?
He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.
It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.
I realized that it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.
It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.
More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.
Lessons learnt from the story:
I understood I should not react in life.
I should always respond.
The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.
Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.
A beautiful way to understand
LIFE.
The HAPPY person is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life.
He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right!
