This is an event I have wanted to put together for a long time and I am so excited it’s finally happening✨

The LOOK & LEARN MAKEUP DEMO event is on Monday 1st May 2023 it is exclusively for Professional Makeup Artists here is what to expect:

9am It begins with an early morning breakfast and introductions.

10am I will start the makeup demo on a model showing my step by step techniques to achieve my signature style of Sophisticated Skin and Natural Eyebrows. Makeup Artists will look and learn while taking notes.

11:30am Everyone attending can ask questions about my techniques, what products I recommend for a professional kit, I will also share what products I recommend to clients for their personal kits and much more.

1pm Networking Lunch for Professional Makeup Artists. A time we can enjoy a meal and share some encouragement with each other along this journey of Makeup Artistry because we all know it’s not easy.

Happy New Month Loves 😃 I am so excited to announce the second Mentorship & Coaching intake is now open for MARCH 2023

🤓 I didn’t have access to anyone who had achieved what I dreamt of so I had to learn along the way what works and what doesn’t. It was hard, they say experience can be a great teacher but it can also be a painful one but I was determined!

✨Now that I have turned my DREAM into my REALITY, I want to share all the valuable lessons and tips that can help other Makeup Artists grow faster and further than anything they ever imagined.

When I started working as a Makeup Artist 12 years ago my Dream was to travel around the world doing makeup and I am so grateful it became my reality. Backstage at New York Fashion Week 🖤

Its so surreal for me to say this was my sixth season back at NYFW but at the same time I know when you LET GO and LET GOD he turns your dreams into your reality.

This time last year I was in such a horrible space, I felt defeated, unmotivated, I doubted myself and my passion for makeup was running low. Yet deep down inside me I knew God gave me this passion for a good reason and that my purpose is tied into it so giving up was not an option. I chose to keep the faith alive and ignore the overwhelming fear that had kept me feeling stuck for so long.

I thank God for his word (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 37:4) I am so grateful for my dear friends and family who kept cheering me on when I needed it most. I believe everything happens for a reason and when you trust God he reveals the reasons to you in such a beautiful way that brings you so much peace of mind and it builds your confidence in him even more. My heart is full of gratitude✨🙏🏾

Working as a Makeup Artist I know how easy it is for people to value themselves based on what they look like or what they own and yet they are never truly happy.

Makeup, clothes and all other material things may make you feel good and look good in the moment but it all means nothing without self-love, self-awareness and self-acceptance.

I used to believe that unless I looked a certain way and achieved certain goals I will never be happy and yet what I really needed to do was let go of all the self-doubt that was deeply rooted in my past experiences.

Owning your story can be hard especially because you have to face the relationships, experiences, the good and the bad decisions that you made along the way.

When I created 2yrs ago I started working with life coaches and it’s been life changing! Most recently I have been working with .w.mwangi and it has been so eye opening, empowering and liberating to do the hard inner work towards embracing my true authentic self.

It all starts with healing inner wounds. I have learned that you must show yourself compassion and forgive yourself as well as those who hurt you, for the sake of your own peace of mind and happiness.

I am also learning how important it is to be confident about every single part of your life journey especially the bad and the ugly because when you are no longer afraid to own your story you can heal and thrive in all aspects of your life.

Now I don’t depend on my highlighter to glow, I glow from within because for the first time ever I am so happy with the woman I am today😊✨ Thank you .w.mwangi for being one of my healers on my life journey.
