She came with a 2 months old install . To note she has very fine and silky hair and guess the hair kept running so the latches were not well compacted (at all )

Not to worry , along the long loop that is usually caused by latching in the same direction over and over just go across the loops as you tighten and compact the strand . You end up with a smooth shaft and compact sttucture and without the risk of future bulging and rough edges
