Hi guys! 👋🏻

Just checking in…I really had planned to be updating my work pages wayyy more often than I have been! 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 I had also assumed I would need to be marketing a LOT more after opening Mantra in order to both make my presence known and find new, awesome clients! 😍

Guess what? You are all so amazing with your WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, etc. that I have had tons of new guests in the salon without even having to post anything! I am so grateful…you guys ROCK! 🤘🏻😁💃🏻

July and August are normally quiet months, as many people travel abroad for the summer…but this year I have been super busy AND have also been able to take some days off while my kids are out of school. This past weekend we went to Naivasha and I also took days off for their school closing days and will be off for their birthdays [that are both in the next couple of weeks, along with mine. 😆] I am just SO grateful for the flexibility and joy that has come with working in my own space. ✨🙌🏻

Speaking of new guests, I have also had several fly in from the Coast to see me…in addition to seeing many of my regular Coast peeps…

Mantra Diani will be a thing. Just wait. It will be.

I just want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for my assistant, Mecca! We have been working together for nearly seven years, and I am so thankful she took the leap of faith and joined me on this new Mantra journey! It was not an easy decision, but it takes a risky jump sometimes to reach the highest level of reward! We are SO pleased and happy and THANKFUL for how everything is going, nearly two months in at our new space. 💃🏻🪷

Mecca just…gets me. She has been working very hard, and we are even about to embark on our FIRST EVER six day work week. 😱 This week and the following I have booked clients so full-on that we have to add the Mondays into the mix! [We are, however, taking a week off mid-July…😜]

She is here for it all [late nights, etc.] with a smile on her face and I am so thankful for her support and assistance!

I am SO happy to say how absolutely AMAZING the first two weeks went at the new space! Full books and a very content heart. My clients are absolutely incredible. I had suuuch a fun time creating this warm, brunette balayage look today for a new client!! 🤎

Most of the time, clients want some variation of blonde when asking for balayage. My guest today had some inspiration pictures that were more of her natural, dark brown at the roots and blending to a lighter, warmer, almost reddish/copper tinged brown at the ends. This one worked my hairstylist brain a bit...and we were both thrilled with the result! 😍✨🎨🥰
