Leaf & Bloom is a Kenyan handmade soap brand built on a simple belief: self-care should be able to fit into real life.
For us, that starts with the shower you’re already taking. We make a focused range of cold-process soaps and pay attention to the things that make a bar genuinely enjoyable to use and worth reaching for again: how it lathers, the scent, how your skin feels afterwards and how well it performs in everyday use.
Because making your shower feel more like self-care doesn’t have to mean adding more steps. Sometimes, it can simply mean making the soap in it better.

My daughter was part of the reason I started making soap. Now, a few years later, she’s old enough to start joining me in it.
This school break, she’s offered to take photos, helped me make soap, given very honest feedback on the bars, and even filmed her own little “influencer” video while washing her hands.
None of it was planned. She just started joining in.
And maybe that’s one of the things I’m enjoying most about rebuilding Leaf & Bloom this time around. It feels more like something that can fit into our lives instead of something I’m constantly struggling to keep up with.
I know these are the little moments I’ll look back on and be grateful I got to experience.
