I was sad because it seemed I could not find God. But then I realized there is no "God" to find, no "God" coming and going, no "God" separate from life, no "God" hiding and appearing. "God" is the primordial ground of all being, the underlying fabric of all existence, the fundamental and ultimate nature of all reality, the harmonious whole, the undisturbed and untroubled oneness... that is behind and permeates all things. I looked for God everywhere and could not find God. Then I realized everywhere I was looking was God.
