Sokun's Coiffure

Sokun started training to become a hairdresser in Cambodia, in 2000, under the expert guidance of French hairdresser Ms. He graduated in 2002 and became the manager of Ms. Brigitte’s Siem Reap salon, Marine’R Coiffure from 2003 to 2006. In 2004, he was the hairdresser on the set of the movie “Two Brothers”, filmed in location near Siem Reap. Sokun then went to Singapore and Malaysia, to focus on learning how to mix hair colors, and new cut and styling techniques. He settled in Phnom Penh in 2007 to manage Raffles Hair & Skin Salon. In 2008, Sokun finally opened his own salon and spa, Sokun’s Place, on the busy riverside. Sokun’s Place soon became a favorite with locals and tourists alike. After the birth of his son, Sokun decided to move to Kampot to enjoy a more natural lifestyle. Sokun's Coiffure offers modern facilities and the latest trends and products, not currently available in Kampot.
