Khin Khin Khant:
Dear Future Me,
I am writing this to send a message to you, and I want to encourage you to stay committed to your true goals. This is not just a normal letter or message. This will always be helpful as a guide to choose the right path.
When I was young, I had a dream of helping others—those who needed support, struggled with basic needs, and forgot how to be happy. Lately, as I grow older, I’ve slowly come to realize that life is simpler on the surface, but the truth behind things isn’t always what I thought. The more I understand human nature, the more doubt I feel—even about my own desire to help others. At some point, I became hesitant to help sometimes. I couldn’t feel sorry for others, and that makes me upset these days. I know I have to try harder to understand others—that’s my weak point for now.
To my future self…
What I want to say is that we’re growing up.
Our thoughts and views are slowly changing.
Some truths are bitter.
And I know—it hurts to keep trying and to grow with maturity.
It’s also hard to live independently.
But still, we’ll always have the chance to start over.
In this unstable life, the only person we can truly rely on… is ourselves.
One day, when we’ve made it through everything—
don’t forget to thank yourself for every little step you took.
Don’t forget to be proud of yourself.
And always, be grateful for the people who stayed by your side—
the ones who gave you love.
And whatever you do, always give it your best.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
Right now, I don’t wish for all my dreams to come true—
I just want the strength and energy to keep trying.
I am from Myanmar. So, this is Burmese writing version or original message to my future self.

Yan Paing Aung: Dear a well-organized and respectable person of time ahead, in times of hardships, reflect yourself by looking at what you admire, and reactivate your high potentials. Always remember that there are a bunch of people to share love with, and things you will have to endeavour to acquire more. Above all, you are filled with love and intellect, therefore, do not misuse them.

Swe Zin Aung: This photo was taken by my sister in December 2021, I think.
They grew up together, and Nickie (our dog) was always our favorite , and he still is.
When he passed away, I was in the exam room and couldn’t do anything for him.
Losing him taught me to show love, warmth, and kindness to the ones we care about before it’s too late.
It may seem like just a photo, but to me, it holds deep meaning.
They were once all together but now, some have already crossed the rainbow bridge.
I have been missing them all, my babies.

Khaing Pyae Phyo:
Dear Future Me,
Do you remember the day we felt like our world was ending?
That heavy day when everything seemed too much to bear — when the pain was so deep we didn’t even want to exist?
Yes, we felt hopeless.
But you know what?
We survived. And not only did we survive — we grew, we healed, and we made it this far.
I hope you’re proud of us.
Because I am.
Right now, I’m okay. I’m grounded. I’m living a quiet, beautiful life.
But my dear future self, let’s be honest — the road here wasn’t smooth.
We were lost for a while.
What saved us wasn’t a person or a promise.
It was a place. A peaceful, silent place we never expected to heal us.
Our little village near Singu —
That was our refuge.
A safe corner of the world where we could run away from the chaos, breathe freely, and gently gather the broken pieces of ourselves.
Every time we arrived, Mother Nature welcomed us with open arms.
The trees swayed like they remembered us. The flowers bloomed with quiet joy.
The birds sang us gentle harmonies. The mountains stood steady when we couldn’t.
We talked to the trees.
We took photos with the flowers.
We sang with the birds and let the wind carry us.
None of them said a word — but all of them listened.
And in that stillness, they healed our soul.
When we were strong enough, we left.
We returned to our lives.
But the village never blamed us for leaving.
Now, look at us.
We’re unstoppable — walking boldly toward our dream of becoming a doctor.
And we owe it all to that quiet place.
It wasn’t famous like the Eiffel Tower or Times Square.
But it was everything we needed.
So, dear future me, I hope we’ve never forgotten that place.
I hope we’ve protected it — kept it safe from the changing world.
Because it saved us.
and share the love!
