Thailand has violated the ceasefire agreement by arresting 20 Cambodian soldiers (and shooting two others whose conditions remain unknown—whether dead or alive) under the pretense of inviting them to shake hands and take group photos. Thailand’s actions constitute a breach of the Kuala Lumpur ceasefire agreement and are in violation of international law, specifically the 1949 Geneva Conventions concerning the treatment of prisoners of war (POWs). Cambodia must gather evidence in order to condemn Thailand for committing war crimes.

Innocent civilians are in danger. This is not merely a conflict over land — it is a violation of human rights, a threat to regional peace, and an assault on the principles of justice and international law.

• The United Nations (UN)
• The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
• The International Court of Justice (ICJ)
• Global leaders, human rights defenders, and the international media

Please act urgently. Help stop this aggression. Protect the lives of our people, defend our territorial integrity, and uphold our right to live in peace. This is a cry from a nation that values harmony and justice.
