Cambodia is not the one fighting for internal power
Thailand is. Stirring conflict with Cambodia only harms their own economy. History has shown that when the people are weakened, a coup follows and Thailand has faced recurring, unfinished military coups for decades. This is not new; it’s a cycle of instability rooted in power struggles among Thai elites. It’s clear this conflict is a ploy by Thailand’s military leadership to distract from their own internal unrest.

Cambodia had no reason to attack first there is no benefit. If we had truly launched an attack, our officers wouldn’t have been sleeping peacefully, nor would civilians have been donating at the border that very morning. But if Thailand’s military claims we did, they create a convenient excuse to escalate tension and justify war. which we tried to avoid .

I’m not justifying the attack on civilian areas loss of innocent lives is always heartbreaking. But let’s be honest: Thailand has also attacked Cambodian civilian areas. It’s incredibly one sided when the world speaks of “humanity” and “humanitarian concerns” while ignoring the suffering of Cambodian people. What about our civilians? What about our people? Are Cambodians not human too?

Thailand has military aircraft we don’t. When those aircraft bomb our land, including civilian zones, what choice do we have? Of course we must defend ourselves. Of course we must aim to stop the threat. It’s devastating that any civilian areas were affected. Every life lost is a tragedy. But to end this conflict, we must acknowledge who started it. We are simply trying to protect our land and our people. Are we not allowed to defend ourselves? Or do only some lives matter?

Our civilians bleed too. Our military personnel are human too. Don’t speak of peace while denying our humanity. s
