Well that was fun. Still smokey here in BC but thats how it is every summer anyway. Cant wait till we can travel overseas.

Afternoon tea at just reopened today. You get two options, the traditional $68/person or Canadian $78/person. Main difference is, they added a beef sandwich and a pistachio pinwheel on the Canadian version. They have the reserve lot 35 tea blend available for an extra charge as these are rare and only available in Fairmont and the selection of black, herbal, white, oolong, chai and green tea. I had the joie de provence while the husband had the egyptian camomile (both herbal teas). Picture shows afternoon tea for 2 person. They highly recommend to reserve a table for their afternoon teas. Book your table via email, phone or online.
Prior to nursing, I was a hotelier as my bachelors degree is in hospitality management. I have worked in few 5 star hotels- Mandarin Oriental Singapore, Four Seasons hotel Macau and Venetian Macau where afternoon or high teas are served. My husband havent tried it so I took him to Fairmont Banff since it was his bday.
PS: yes I know I gained weight. I have been trying to lose lately but I think its more hormonal although my TSH level’s normal, I do have most of the symptoms of someone with hypothyroidism. So before you comment about my weight, know that I have been trying to eat healthy but its been hard to lose the extra weight unlike before..
