AmCham Kuwait recently met with the Acting Public Affairs Counselor and the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs team to discuss new areas of collaboration that support our members and shared U.S.-Kuwait priorities.

The discussion included potential collaboration on programs in AI, with a focus on practical AI applications across different industries, as well as various academic and professional exchange programs.

We also explored customized sector-focused programs that could connect our members with U.S. experts, institutions, and best practices. Our goal is to turn dialogue into practical opportunities that expand access to U.S. expertise, strengthen sector capacity, and create measurable value for our members.

We greatly appreciate the Public Affairs Section’s longstanding partnership, continued engagement, and openness to collaboration, and we look forward to the initiatives ahead.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Ambassador Mukai, and the Embassy of Japan in Kuwait for their exceptionally warm hospitality at the Ambassador’s residence. The fantastic Japanese meal, thoughtfully incorporating touches of Arabic cuisine, made the evening especially memorable. Our hosts truly went above and beyond.

The evening also provided an opportunity for an engaging exchange on regional trade, the economic outlook across the GCC, and the current landscape for U.S. companies, including how AmCham Kuwait is supporting their success in the market.

We also discussed Kuwait’s broader economic outlook and emerging opportunities, particularly how the new commercial agency regulations may create advantages for international companies that have yet to establish a presence in Kuwait.
