As a mom you can never win.
You worry a lot = you put anxiety on your kids.
You don’t worry = you don’t care about your kids.
You worry but don’t show it = you’re pretending and not honest.
You follow the public instructions = you worry ‘what if’
You go against it = you’re ruining your kids education/ social life.
You talk about how you feel = you’re being dramatic.
You don’t talk about how you feel = you’re avoidant.
You shield your kids from war updates = they will learn it from other kids at school / family in a way you may not like.
You update your kids on the war = you (risk to) traumatize them ‘unnecessarily’.
Covid wasn’t enough. I hoped after that parenting gets easier and I can focus on toddler and teenager tantrums and I feel sad at times for my kids for the uncertainty and simultaneously feel guilty for making it such a big deal while I know obviously that other places in the world are heavily bombed and suffer a totally different level of hardship. May Allah make it easy on all parents and put strength in our hearts and relieve every parent around the globe from heavy worries about their children.
The load on us moms is huge, but the emotional load feels heavy these days and it takes effort to be cheerful and remember each day of life as a blessing, alhamdulillah.

After 2 school runs, work and gym my energy is gone but my natural deodorant keeps me safe and never to worry about smelling not fresh 💃🤲🏻💞
