keep Healthy Hair.....Don't brush your hair too much. One more surprising habit of people with beautiful hair is their reluctance to use a brush. Many women (and men) prefer only using a natural-fiber comb to detangle hair immediately after showering, and only then taking one pass through.... Trim your hair regularly. The best way to get rid of split ends is to...do it yourself! Take some hair shears and attack the split ends about 1/4 inch above the splitting. Many women with perfect hair never have split ends because they make it a priority to get their hair trimmed, or trim it themselves, every 6-8 weeks.

Is your hair dry, brittle, impossible to unravel? You might just be using agressive shampoo, or you are too comfortable with pony tails and braiding your hair. What can you do or avoid doing?
Let's start with the don'ts: don't wash, unravel, perm, cream, color, blow-dry, or sunbathe it too often.
Do's: massage your scalp often, use nutrient-rich masks or conditioners, use a boar bristle brush, a regular dosis of vitamin "E" will also help.
Quick remedies: Apply a mask with shea butter and leave it in all night to be absorbed and rinse it with COLD water. Stay tuned for more tips...

If you want to enjoy the summer at the beach or pool... Wash your hair thoroughly and leave abundant conditioner on or a leave-in oil-free treatment before jumping into the water...
Afterwards you can simply shampoo your hair to get rid of any chlorine or salt..... and apply a moisturizing treatment...
For the heat-treated or heavily colored hairs dont leave it wet all night long... preferably put on some rollers and go to bed... Remember that treated hair is more fragile than regular hair.

KEEP YOUR BANGS TREAMED: Most hair salons offer a FREE trim as a courtesy to their clients, but we all know it isn't always the case or u simply don't have the time. With a little patience, practice, precision and a sharp pair of scissors, you can do it yourself. Fist you must Section off your hair and pin back any loose strands and secondly using a styling comb, place the comb on the brow-bone and use this as your guide. Start cutting slowly making sure not to cut above the brow bone.

Revitalize your hair with this fabulous home-made "Avocado" hair treatment.... Combine two egg whites with half of a mashed-up avocado; leave it in hair for 15 minutes, then wash and condition. It's a quick and inexpensive natural remedy that leaves hair extras smooth.
Use rollers for high-volume. For sex-kitten lift, blow out your locks until they’re dry. Then, section off the hair on top of your head—between your temples and all the way back to the crown of your hair. Divide that section into three smaller sections vertically (as if you were making a mohawk), and wrap each in a 2-inch velcro hair roller. Let your hair sit like this for 30 minutes, and then unwrap your strands, lightly comb them out, and spray for hold.
Curling Iron Size and Heat: When it comes to your choice of curling iron, the size of your barrel will determine the finish of your curls. The larger the barrel, the larger your curl. If you want a small, tight curl then choose a thin/small barrel.
As for heat, try to opt for a curling iron that allows you to set the heat so that you don’t fry your locks. For color-treated, damaged or fine hair, use the lowest heat setting possible. For coarse or thick hair, or hair that has a degree of natural curl then you can use the higher settings, but keep an eye on your hair and heat level.
