"How Many Sessions Will I Need?"

This is the question almost every client asks, and the answer is always personalised.

Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognised method of permanent hair removal. However, because hair grows in three different cycles (anagen, catagen, and telogen), not every hair is visible or treatable at the same appointment.

During each session, only hairs in the active growth phase (anagen) can be permanently destroyed. Dormant hairs will naturally appear over time, which is why a series of treatments is required to achieve complete, permanent hair removal.

The number of sessions depends on:

• The treatment area.
• Hair density and thickness.
• Hormonal influences (such as PCOS or hormonal changes).
• Previous hair removal methods (waxing, tweezing, threading, laser, etc.).
• Individual hair growth cycles.
• Regular attendance and following the recommended treatment schedule.

What can you expect?

Most clients begin to notice a reduction in hair growth after the first few sessions. As treatment continues:

Hair becomes finer and less dense.

Fewer hairs appear each time.

Sessions become shorter and less frequent.
