I protect my own conscience by never asking anyone else to carry what I promised to carry myself.

Sharing raw, unedited mobile captures to give you a real glimpse into how this makeup translates in the typical lighting of my bridal season work. For those who have followed me over the years, you know I don’t typically do studio shoots or collaborations. I’ve always believed that real clients reveal the most interesting truths like how artistry performs on real, non-professional skin that isn’t meticulously maintained.

There are many reasons I prefer this authentic approach over working with professional models, which I’ll delve into again soon. However, for this particular look on the beautiful Upeksha, I made an exception. This was my one and only collaboration shoot, done with the incredibly talented Drapist Sana from Switzerland. I was so keen to work with her because she, like me, has built her name from the ground up solely on talent and hard work 🧿.

In an industry obsessed with blurring reality, I choose to celebrate it. These pictures reveal exactly how the skin actually looks, because real brides don’t have airbrushed skin, they have real life, real stories, and real texture. And that’s what makes this art form beautiful. No heavy filters. No perfect studio models. Just honest work on honest skin. ✨
