I wish to share the news that my father went to be with the Lord.
He was well known as Ex. W O K V Fernando, a dedicated officer in the Air Force who served the country with quiet dignity for 33 years, well loved by his colleagues and trainees. A beloved husband, loving father and a devoted grandfather.
Viewing will take place at "The Last Honour" Funeral Parlour, Rajagiriya from 9th Dec. 9 a.m. Funeral will be held under the Air Force honours at Nawala Public Cemetery at 2.30 p.m. on 10th Wednesday.
May his soul rest in eternal peace in Christ Jesus, our God and Redeemer.
Even though he died, he shall live. Our love for him will be forever in our hearts.
