Growing up, I was never really comfortable with anyone doing my makeup, simply because I was never insecure about my skin colour. I’m tan, and I never had a problem with it. I’ve always just owned it.

Maybe that’s why I love a woman who embraces her skin and owns it. There’s something so beautiful about a bride who isn’t trying to be someone else. And honestly, I feel like these women always turn out to be the most elegant brides.

For me, makeup has never been about changing someone. It’s about bringing out the best in what’s already there and making her feel like the most beautiful version of herself.

Being able to do that for someone on one of the most important days of her life is something I genuinely treasure. The feeling of seeing her look at herself and feel beautiful… that’s a reward I don’t think I could ever put a price on. 🤍
