Children younger than 8 years should avoid doxycycline because it may cause discolouration of developing teeth and affect bone growth.
Doxycycline prevents malaria; it also treats acne(pimples)

Doxycycline should be taken with a full glass of water and remain upright for at least 30 minutes afterwards.

Doxycycline shouldn't be taken with milk, antacids, Iron and calcium supplements. Because they can reduce absorption.

It's absolutely not recommended to take Tinidazole (Tindex) and Metronidazole (Flagy) together.
They belong to the same class of drug, nitroimidazole antibiotics, which treat both bacterial and protozoal infections.

They have the same mechanism of action and treat the same infections.
Combining them would not provide additional therapeutic benefits; using them together will increase the side effects of the drug.

In most clinical cases Tinidazole(Tindex) is always the alternative drug to Metronidazole(Flagy)

Don't get twisted today is World Menstruation Day. Happy World Menstruation Day to all the proud bleeders.
As we celebrate World Menstruation Day, let's look at some of the Positive and Negative effects of menstruation.

Menstruation, also known as a women's period, is a natural process that occurs in the female body every month. While menstruation is a normal part of a woman's life, it can have both positive and negative effects on the body.

Positive Effects of Menstruation:

1. Fertility: Menstruation is a sign that a woman's body is healthy and able to conceive a child. It indicates that the reproductive organs are functioning properly.

2. Detoxification: Menstruation helps to cleanse the uterus and remove any old blood and tissue that is no longer needed. This can help prevent infections and maintain good reproductive health.

3. Hormonal balance: Menstruation is regulated by hormones such as estrogen and progesterone, which are important for maintaining overall health and well-being.

Negative Effects of Menstruation:

1. Pain and discomfort: Many women experience symptoms such as cramps, bloating, headaches, and mood swings during their menstrual cycle. These symptoms can be painful and disruptive to daily life.

2. Fatigue: Some women may feel more tired during their period, due to hormonal changes and loss of blood.

3. Menstrual disorders: Some women may experience irregular or heavy periods, which can be a sign of underlying health issues such as polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) or endometriosis.

Overall, while menstruation can have negative effects on the body, it is a natural and essential process for women's reproductive health. Women need to take care of themselves during their period and seek medical attention if they experience any concerning symptoms.
