Sophie Community, Congo Town, Liberia - Miss Monrovia 2025-2026, Fatumata Q. Mabande, embodies “Her Health—Her Power,” demonstrated through her impactful community care outreach in Sophie Community on March 14, 2026.

Her reign redefines the crown as a commitment to community, compassion, and empowerment.

Over 50 adolescent girls gained vital knowledge on menstrual health, self-awareness and body confidence, responsible decision-making and mental health, and personal hygiene, thanks to our expert facilitators.

The event fostered a sense of empowerment, with each girl receiving a sanitary kit containing pads, wipes, soap, contraceptives, and other items, symbolizing care and support. The Queen also donated an envelope to inspire the community’s youth future projects.

The Management extends heartfelt gratitude to our sponsor Mr. Dewitt vonBallmoos, Director General of Nasscorp. We appreciate our partners Snug, Kiss Condoms, and Lydia for their supports.

Special thanks to our esteemed facilitators, the community leaders, our dynamic team members, the MC, and participants for making this event a success.

Join us in Sophie community on the 14th of this month @ 11:00am for ”HER HEALTH- HER POWER”

This project is about Girl’s Health & Community Care Outreach, empowering adolescent girls in Sophie community. We will want start by improving community health, addressing the lack of information on menstrual health, hygiene, and reproductive risks that these girls face, which leads to issues like school absenteeism and teenage pregnancy.

Our goal is to improve health awareness, menstrual hygiene, and community sanitation.

We'll achieve this through two main activities: a community care and sanitation day led by youth volunteers, cleaning and improving key locations, and empowerment session for 50 school-going girls.

We aim to increase their knowledge by at least 60%, and we'll provide dignity health kits with sanitary pads and contraceptives. We believe this initiative will have a significant positive impact on the community.

As her reign begins, she launches a heartfelt appreciation tour for the Sophie Community, the very souls who helped her clinch the crown with belief, support, and unwavering faith. The community outreach centers on practical, transformative action rather.

Key components of the outreach include:

An educative session for 50 young girls focused on menstrual health, self-awareness, reproductive health, resilience, and personal hygiene.

Distribution of sanitary kits to every participant, providing dignity and ongoing care with sanitation pads, wipes, soap, and tissues.

Reproductive and comprehensive health resources, underscoring informed choices.

Efforts to improve clean environments in vulnerable and elderly homes, schools, medical facilities, and other public spaces.

The Queen once again extends her heartfelt appreciation to everyone who helped during the clinching of the crown.
